This movie was an early 2000's classic. I miss the coming of age teen genre. I was 10 when this movie came out in 2003. Christina Milan and Nick Cannon ended up dating after they did this movie. Alvin's friends was annoying. Now, I've always wanted to know how many years was Drew out of high school? Did he get drafted straight out of high school or did he do at least a year or two in college before getting drafted? It was a bit weird that he still hung around the school.
It's ironic how much in common Nick has with Alvin as a character. After publicly dating her for 2 years, he still tries to say until this day that they never dated, never mind how often she caught him cheating on her. His response was completely different when he was with her.

I also kinda love that they named their kids after Al Green & Aretha Franklin. I loved Paris' self discovery journey in the movie as well. Seeing her fight to defy ppl's expectations & do what she wants is empowering.
