Ok, I did the math on the first round because I have no life. At the time the game went to shit the standings were:
6th is Michael with $2,300
5th is Geoff with $3,150
4th is Jeremy with $3,700
3rd is Gavin with $5,200
2nd is Jack with $5,800
And 1st is Ryan with $7,150

I'll explain this to the best of my ability. The starting bid is always $400. There are art experts giving the players texts about the painting being auctioned. The art experts tell them stuff like the value of the painting and other pieces of advice. Everyone gets a different text from a different person. What they try to do is buy the painting to get a profit from the actual value of the painting. The artist gets half the auction price. So lets say Gavin gets an auction price of $3,000 on a painting. Gavin then gets $1,500. Let's say Geoff is the winner of that auction. If the paining has a value of $3,500, then he gets a $500 profit. This then repeats for the rest of the game. I hope this helps some people.
Also, the person with the most money at the end wins.

But Jeremy did get money on that one painting that was his own. He didn't get artist commission because he was the artist, but he spent 2000 something and got 3200 back.
Because at the end of the game the paintings you bought are sold to the buyers shown at the very beginning. When another player buys one of your pieces during the game, you get half of their bid immediately. If you buy your own, you don't get that.

+Kenny Horner- He spent $2100 and only got $1100 profit which, if he'd let Jack have it, Jeremy would've gotten $1050ish anyway without having to spend the $2100 first. But considering that that was the only painting that he bought, it didn't work out too bad for him all things considering (like you said, he got $3200 at the end). The only downfall to that was that he cockblocked Jack from winning the game. The Mad King reigns supreme!
+Kay Smith I never said it was the most efficient way of getting profit, however he got roughly the same as he would anyway. Also, the painting cost him 2100 ish and he sold it for 3200 ish, leaving him a 1100 profit. So it was about the same. And no matter what, he still got money from it

This might have been my favorite of these games. Sure, the other ones might be arguably funnier, but this one has mind games, strategy, and fucking over your friends! This might be the most "gamey" of the jack box party packs.
But also the most confusing.

For people who don't understand how your supposed to know how much the computer would pay (like me two minutes ago) each player is told the value of three paintings. But their only told the titles.
