When I shifted 10 years back it was easy. Company funded all the courses and certificates. Now market is flooded and its difficult to get in. Also you have to pay for all courses.
@@engineerbythesea4100 Sir, that is very disappointing to hear as I have already completed my training from DMET, Kolkata and I am placed in Anglo Eastern Ship Management as a engine cadet. I want to advance in this field. That is the reason I asked regarding shift from Gas to Offshore vessels. THANK YOU. PLS GIVE ME IMPORTANT FEEDBACK.
@@BharaviTripathi You have some way to go before you can join offshore. There are no rank below 3E and 2O in offshore. So complete your cadetship and give your exams. Try to get in gas fleet or at least tankers if already not sailing in them. Avoid dry fleet if possible.
Sir how did you shift from LPG TO DP VESSELS. How are these ships. Please share.
