yo i beg of you to please continue these videos and start doing the build process on that Lexus es 300 I got one too and about start my journey and this video helped a lot!!!!
@@blackwaterjpn Hey I was wondering what your opinion on a 2000 Es300 with 144k miles would be. The car seems clean inside and out, no accidents, and the belt, brakes, and battery were changed. They're asking $4000, but I'm assuming I could get them a bit lower. Do you think that is reasonably priced? Thank you so much, loved the video!
So we just changed our coilovers. We have a bit of a wobble when driving. They all seem to be the same length, do you think an alignment will fix that?
@@blackwaterjpn yeah, we tightened everything from what we could see. it just seems like we are going over bumps like a catty walk. but we measured and all the same length too. Just wonder, thanks
Yes we took it on a 18hour road trip in recent times and it didn’t skip a beat. We do the maintenance ourselves though so it stays cheap. It’s a 90’s Lexus, what more could you ask for, they’re great cars.
@@blackwaterjpn so have you had to replace a lot of expensive repairs or just regular also did have you ever broken down on the 18hr road trip? Also how long ago did you go on the 18hr road trip?and how many miles are on the car?
Anybody in PNW want their 3VZFE converted to a rare 5 speed manual transmission? I have an incredibly rare 5 speed manual from a 1992 ES300. Only 1,100 (yes, 1,100) ever made that year.
Funny you say that. I own 2 factory 5 speed 3vzfe es300’s. One is a 92 and one is a 93. The one in this video is a later model year though with the 1MZFE. Please find me on instagram, I would like to see your es300 though.
@@blackwaterjpn thanks u should deff post updates on this car when u get the chance i got a 97 es and it’s nice to see other people using them as a project
Yet another reliable vehicle destined for the junkyard. First it was my generation ragging out all the Hondas now it’s moved to luxury cars 🤦♂️one day people will learn that unless you just love pissing away money you’d be better off doing a good restoration job and sitting on these cars. Much better return on investment! We need to protect these dinosaurs not neglect them.
