Yes, Electric Scooters are illegal in the Netherlands. His e-Scooter was purchased in Germany where they are legal.

I don't want to be "that guy", but in case you ever get into trouble over something as menial as this you should consider deleting it. I know we like taking the piss out of American cops but people abusing their position to make a point is in no way exclusive to the US.
Yeah but no. The cops weren't filmed and you're allowed to record a conversation as long as you're part of it by law. At least in the Netherlands.
In other countries this might not be so.

My entire point was that powerhungry abusive dickheads exist in a lot of countries.
In every state you are allowed to record police who are currently working. 38 of them allow recording of any conversation if at least one participant (a.k.a. you) is aware and willing. Recording police while informing them that they are being recorded, in public, gets you freedom to do so pretty much anywhere.
