Joseph Mast, CAI - 2011 International Auctioneer Champion, Men's Division

Joseph Mast, CAI, of Millersburg, Ohio, won the International Auctioneer Championship (IAC) men's division Friday, July 15, 2011, at the 62nd International Auctioneers Conference and Show in Orlando, Fla.
Established in 1988, the IAC contest is the most competitive bid-calling contest in the world. Sixty-six men and 17 women competed in the 2011 competition. The top seven female contestants and 15 male contestants competed in the finals.
IAC competitors are judged on their presentation, chant, voice timbre, body language, interview answers and other performance elements of effective auctioneering. IAC champions are considered by industry professionals as the best bid-calling auctioneers in the world.
