  • The simulated cities of Assassin's Creed are some of the series' best selling points. Today I'm ranking my favorite 10 colonial American cities! From New York to Havana, from New Orleans to Nassau, these are the coolest American cities in the AC series. Cities are judged based on their visual design, gameplay potential, and story content. Not to mention the architecture of each city! Gameplay captured in Assassin's Creed III (3), Liberation, IV (4) Black Flag, Freedom Cry, Rogue, and more!

Thanks for watching! It's some of mine too. Which is your favorite North American city in the series?

@@Kanaju ooh good question, I'd probably go with AC Rogue's NY. It's just top quality

AC3 was my first game in the franchises, and New York was fun, but Havana from Black Flag became my favourite city
A Vauge list a few more cities i love are Sparta, Constantinople, and Unitys Paris

I could see Havana being someone's top city. It really is a great location. The other cities you list are cool too, though I'll admit I wasn't the biggest fan of Revelation's Constantinople. I found it difficult to navigate, but that's more of a personal thing. Regardless, thanks for watching and commenting!

I’ve never played an AC game, but I can tell you the British fort in Albany NY was named Fort Frederick. The British used it pretty extensively in the Seven Years’ War but it eventually fell out of use as I understand it and was mostly gone after the Revolution. So maybe that’s the one in the game. Love the video btw.

Bro even though your AC city videos don't get the numbers that your NMS videos do, I really hope you continue with them. Looking forward to your rankings of the cities of AC1 and the Ezio trilogy! Cheers.

Hahaha I've visited plenty of American cities and have plenty to say about each of them, but I'm sure I'd make some enemies! Funny enough I actually really enjoy watching city ranking videos on other channels, like CityNerd. Thanks for checking out my video!

You Americans are so lucky to see your history come to life like this.
We Indians won't get that for the next 150 years 😢

Alexandria is only "African" by virtue of being on the continent of Africa, which didn't exist as a concept in 60 BC. It's a Greek city on the continent of Africa.

Kanaju, my dude, if making assassins creed content makes you happy by all means continue, but your main viewerbase is no mans sky fans. It's gonna be really hard to get the same views on videos like this than on your main type of content. Maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but maybe I'm not. Do with this information what you will. Love your vids btw.

This is a truth I have known for a long time. I make these Assassin's Creed videos for myself mostly. It's the kind of stuff I want to see on RUclips! They're also some of the only videos of mine that I rewatch every now and again. I never publish them with the expectation that they'll be successful, since they really aren't. Luckily I always have another NMS video in the works.
Thanks for giving it a view regardless! Thanks for the support!

350 people watching a video is not really a “tiny” number if you think about it though. Sure, on RUclips it might be, but if you get THREE HUNDRED people listening to you speak irl or whatever, that’s a pretty insane number.
And yes, you did state the obvious.
