I filmed this video around in Provo and Orem, Ut. We basically just drove around all day looking for people who were panhandling on the side of the road, we'd chat for a bit, if we felt like we should continue with the trick, we would, and then we'd leave them with the $100.
Ever since getting into magic, I wanted to learn some cool money tricks. I thought it would be cool do a video about it, but I didn't know how I would go about that. I tried a bunch of different tricks, and this one, just felt right. I was nervous because every time I did the trick, it would cost me $100. I did the trick 10 times! Although I knew it was for a good cause, I still wanted to make sure it worked. The people we had in the video were all very grateful for what we gave them. We made sure to talk to them a little beforehand and make sure they really needed it and would be able to use it for good things. Back in the 80's I worked at a bank. One of my jobs was to repossess cars for non payment. I had a customer who was on a repayment plan for missing car payments. Long story short, he got sick and broke his agreement and if we took his car he would not be able to continue to work as his job was 50 miles away. I had a 2nd car just sitting in my garage that I did not use so I gave it to him after the repossession. The man was married with a wife and 3 children. I am now retired and till this day he sends me a Christmas card every year.

When I used to live in Cali before joining the military. Every day I left for work, there was a homeless man at a certain corner that sat on a bucket. Every time he got a tip, he wouldn't look at it. He would go back to his bucket, sit down and pray, then look and put it in his bucket.
One weekend, I had hit it big at the Dealership I was working at and had gotten bonus money. So the next day on my way to work, I saw him like usual. I folded up tightly a $100 bill and gave it to him. He did his same ritual...when he opened it up, he started crying. I was young and had a lucky weekend. Just wanted to pay it forward to someone else in need.

I see the same homeless guy every day driving home from school but I don't have any money to give him so I give him a smile it makes him feel good and me

am a homeless guy in new zealand and i sleep in an internet caf and i watch people helping homeless out all the time to keep me from loosing it and giving up compleatly also im a fan of magic it brought a tear to my eye stuart its people like you that help me keep on going man thank you from the bottom of my heart

One time I left the grocery store after scratching off a $20 winner on a $2 ticket. There was a young man outside camping out with a backpack and his dog. He asked for a cigarette. I gave him one and asked about his situation. Basically he was stranded in my town with no foreseeable options. So I reached into my pocket and gave him my ticket. He was so happy and appreciative. It made me feel really good! I hope somewhere out there he's doing fine.

bikerscout2012 one time i saw a guy who had nothing not even a few nicholes and he had a sign up that said hed work for food but i just went to McDonald's so i just gave half of it to him without him having to work at all and on my way back home he wasn't there so i think he did fine now ★

I saw a man looking pretty ragged outside a store outlet. I pulled over to the side, and got out to ask him what his deal was. His name's Eddie, so then I told him that I was going to the McDonald's across the street and wanted to see what he wanted. I told him I was getting something for myself, but I just got something for him. Along with a few extra ketchup packets. He told me I was the only person that he truely considered his friend, and then he gave the biggest smile :D

Every year for Christmas or sometimes just on a random day.
I go to a fast food place and go through the drive through then order something for me.
And then when I go up to pay I tell the cashier that I would like to pay for my meal and the person behind me meal.
And tell the cashier to tell the person behind me Merry Christmas or happy Monday(or what ever say it is) and say there meal has been payed for by the person in front of you.
I really like doing it and I feel the spirt every time!☺️

No i actually do. I have a huge family so we usually have to pull up and wait and a couple times the people came up to our car after we ordered and thanked us. Im sorry that was confusing but it was true! I promise. I am doing it this christmas and maybe thanksgiving
Currently homeless spending all my days at a 24 7 mcdonalds useing the free wifi, some guy started talking to me about the cold weather and i mentioned how im sleeping in the weather, a moment later he comes over to me and gives me a 10$ bill.

Ive had this happen to me.. I was walking down the street with my kids.. I was at my lowest. and a man pulled up to me in a truck.. and tried to hand me money.. I thought by the looks of it that it was a 20$ but it was 100$!! I almost couldn't take it. I was in shock.. But seeing these videos has given me ideas on who I should return the favor to.. I cant perform the magic you do. But the magic to make those people happy for that moment is enough for me.. Thank You!!
I was 1st place in a mile place when my knee gave out and couldn't get up. All the other racers past me but the girl in last place carried me to the finish line and pushed me forwards

Wow, what a beautiful act of kindness! After losing my job and my home in that order recently I have nothing but empathy for the folks he just helped out. It's not always destructive behavior that brings one to homelessness, My situation is proof of that. I was living pay check to pay check until I was laid off. I couldn't find more work fast enough and so eviction was inevitable. Putting less fortunate people down without knowing their circumstances is a really small-minded thing to do. We're not all self-destructive. I'm glad this guy can obviously see that. Sometime a little help is just what it takes. I know that act right there just made those peoples week! You're an amazing person! Keep it up man.

One time at a gas station, I saw that there was a homeless man sitting on the curb right by the door. I only had 5$ but I bought him a bag of chips and drink. He was so happy, and it made me feel great.
I'm 12 and me my grandmother and uncle helped the homeless by giving them food socks coats hats and gloves and I think we did a really good deed

I was waiting behind a man at a grocery store once, he had $15 worth of items and was bewildered when his card was declined. Before he walked away with empty hands, I told the cashier to add his total to mine. He was in such awe, he didn't know how to handle himself afterward, and followed me halfway to my car, asking why I would do such a generous thing. Why not??

Couple years ago I visit my parents country Colombia. I was with my dad I got is fast food KFC like restaraunt. Then they ate like at some food stand that had really great colombian food so he ask why not eat this and dont eat the kfc like, i said ok. Next to the restarant there was a homeless man sitting. I asked my dad if i can give the kfc like to him. He said sure so I walked over and said here you go sir. He was so hay inside I felt so proud and I was tearing a little bit.

For a school project by myself I went out bought new t shirts and food. I went and drove around town and handed out t shirts and food to homeless people. They really enjoyed it and this video brought a tear to my eyes. :) people like you power this world. Think of how much $100 can do for them. I love you and you are a great person. Keep it up.
When I got my very first paycheck at age 17 I cashed it and gave all 550$ to people who needed it

I was homeless with my 2 sons they were 2 & 3 years old at the time, and its very hard. Its so nice to see people take the time to help people who actually need it.

For Christmas my grandma would always tell me about how there was kids at shelters who didn't have toys, and at that time in my life, objects didn't matter. I knew what money could do, but I never thought it would control my friends lives as much as it does now that I'm a teenager. Back then my grandma asked me if I wanted to give my Christmas money (50$) to a shelter to buy toys for the kids that lived there. Honestly I didn't think twice. I said yes. My grandma taught me so much that day that I didn't realize until I grew up. I learned that giving felt a lot better than taking. As I watched this video, It made me realize the good money can do. At the same time, I've noticed the bad it has done. Give to the needy, even when your needy. Because god gives back. ALWAYS.

There is a homeless man that lives in my area and he's also a retired vet. My husband and I were passing by the other day and couldn't offer much, but gave him everything we had in our wallets for cash. He was so appreciative he cried, and it made me happy to see him happy.

I told him I'd pay for his airplane ticket but he refuses to leave cause he has a job but not enough credit to get himself a place so I'm moving to Hawaii so he has a place but now my friend will have to find a new roomate. Sucks though cause Hawaii is really expensive....

2 days ago I saw someone w/ their sign, "homeless & hungry" on the side of the road...I stopped & shared what was left of my lunch. An apple & yogurt, passing him the food I saw the small print on the sign ~ "why lie? I want a beer" I asked if he was really hungry, he replied "it's all good"...I drove away wondering if I helped him out by giving him food or bummed him out because I did not share $ for beer. Lesson I learned....always read the fine print!

I know this was 6 years ago when filmed. But i want say thank you for helping people out like that. See i was homeless for two years, now each weekend me and friends go out to the local park and we feed and give cloths away to the homeless in our area.

I was homeless when i was pregnant and i was walking to school to finish to get my high school diploma but that one day i was walking this guy seen me and i almost lost my baby from to much walking so he picked me up and taken me to the Hospital and brought me a house and payed my bills into i got a job but i finish high school and went to College to be a OBGYN and now i have a full time job and a new place that i payed for myself and my child is two now and my lifes been amazing just for the help someone has given me thank you too all the people in the world for helping the homelesd and now i also help the homeless.
