The Imams Are knowledgeable and All knowing by Allah's will! The reason they have not stated many things now that we wonder are because you cannot have mentioned it when it was a time of jahil, heck now is still jahil with all the shia killings. For example, Imagine if they mentioned we can fly using machines, they would have called him a witch. Infallible means they can sin but their taqwa is so high they chose not to and they never did, no error or mistake.

2) even if it was only a local phenomenon: how come Imam Al Baqir as didn't say anything about the BigBang. that the whole universe was one clump and Allah split it assunder?
3) Does this mean that the Imam's aren't infallible? because they had the chance to explain this verse but they didn't?

I have a problem with the explenation of verse 30 in sura 21: "have the disbelievers not seen that the heavens were closed and we opened them up"
The imam said: Allah opened the skies up to make it rain after Adam went on the earth so vegetation would grow.
I can't agree with this at all
1) Does this mean that there wasn't any vegetation before Adam came on earth? if so then it means that the Dinosaurs came at least at the same time as Adam?

It is not specific that the heaven opened when Adem went to the earth, it can be before, meanining of closed heaven is like the begining of the earths atmosphere its hot no water and stuff

Maybe because Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr was against his own father's policies :)

Why would he need to cover it up? He might just not have mentioned it and got straight to the point. We shias are proud that imam jaffer was a grandson of muhammad bin abu bakr (aka the step son of imam ali a.s).
I found Shiite condemn being black for many instances.. and the reason I found another shiit clerk in London .. who condemn abu bakar ra that his father was black indeed dark... and his father use to work low level jobs.. interesting .

Can any one argue against the fact that the PROPHETS of ALLAH ( Peace be upon them ) have higher stature than Ali and Hussein ( Peace be upon them ) ? . Well the Prophet Suleiman ( PBUH) WAS UNAWARE OF THE WHEREABOUT OF THE BIRD WHEN HE WAS REPORTED MISSING . The bird came back to tell Suleiman that he is bringing news from Yaman that the Prophet Suleiman is unaware of . Also the Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) on the days prior to the Battle of Badr , was unaware of the Enemy"s military strength marching across the desert to attack him . He had to rely on intelligent gathering methods . Only after he was told that Qureish slaughter between 9 to 10 camels each day to feed the Army , the prophet gave a rough estimation that their numbers between 900 to 1000 soldiers . Do we need more compelling evidence to show that Ali and Hussein DO NOT KNOW THE UNSEEN ?

+Abu Salah Salamalaikum,The shia belief is that the imams were inspired by Allah of what they needed to do.
They did not have any control what so ever they prayed for Allah s guidance and they were granted it.
Like When Mosa a.s mother was inspired by Allah to put Mosa a.s in the river which eventually led him to Asiya r.a the wife of the pharaoh.She wasnt a prophet but was simply inspired to do it.
Mohammed s.a.w was given knowledge which Allah saw fit to reveal to him.
Few example would be when he told Abu dhar al gaffari a.s(Allah ordered Mohammed s.a.w to love 4,Ali,Abu dhar,Salman,Miqdaad) that he would die alone and be raised alone.He died in the desert alone due to starvation.
And he told Ammar bin Yasir he would be killed by infidels.He was later killed in the battle of siffin.
Among many other times Mohammed s.a.w knew about things noone else did.
Allah knows best of what knowledge has to be revealed when.
Syfe Husain , No ALLAH DID NOT GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE MILITARY STRENGTH OF THE QURIESH forces marching toward Badr .
The prophet Muhammad ( PBUH ) had to rely on intellegence gathering methods to give a rough estimate of the forces arrayed against his army .
There is Not a single verse that showed such information about the enemy's fighting force .
