I did a full review of this particular backyard kids pool in a prior video ( amzn.to/2yy0aKo ), as well as a video about how to clean and store this inflatable pool, but wanted to show you how to cover the pool in between uses. **Be careful**: pool water should NOT sit for long...it can grow dangerous bacteria and other nasty stuff harmful to you. What I do is empty it every two days, but cover it with a tarp while not in use. This helps keep grass and dirt out. I prefer the "tuck" method, but you can consider using a "stretch" method for a tighter fit, attaching the tarp corners to i-bolts which are pounded into the ground.

I was thinking of zig zagging cordage between the hoops and tightening it up that way, but if the loops are only present in the corner that's not gonna work

Good Try...but when and if it rains....thats a disaster. I tried with two PANUX white corrageted plastic from big box store and a wooden frame around that so that it wont collapse inward....then I covered it all with a tarp , added a small chlorine float...and it will last for about 3 weeks give or take...then I dump and refill. Living in South Fl, we dont want a pool and the beach is an hour plus away...but sometimes we just want to BBQ, have a drink, listen to music...Inexpensive...but worth it!. When covid hit, I purchased a 4x8...lasted two years....then I dumped it and purchased a 6x10....So water bill will be a bit higher this summer...but once again....ITS WORTH IT ...AHHHHH! NO diving though...

      I believe it was a 12' x 16' tarp - overly big!

Evaporate, or leak out? Might want to check your plug at the bottom - that's a lot of water to evaporate! :)
