As much as I love the action packed 2v2 games I fear I wouldn't enjoy professional 2v2 for extended periods of time. It just seems to me that from all available combinations only T&P are viable. And in this matchup the best strategy is for protoss to dominate air while terrans fight for ground control using mech.
For a strategy game this is a somewhat poor wealth of strategies.
