But Benjamin should I keep trying trivellas only from that area? I've tried from the top right and left of the box and it works sometimes maybe 1 out 7. It's such a stunning goal Benjamin griddy
I cross the ball from the corner to a player(usually with PowerShot+ playstyle) standing outside of the box and hit power shot. 55% conversion rate so far.
Please Ben can you show me to move to players to near pole . Which button I have to use.
love this. very helpful. But can you PLEASE do a tutorial on headers? Specifically scoring headers. You almost hit on it in this video but left this key part out. Some players seem to be able to score headers with any player. There must be a secret or trick to it.
This! I am so unbeliebably bad at scoring headers. I literally could stand right in front of goal and miss it.
Headers are manual, all that means a you have to aim the stick on target to score
@@iwilltouchyourtoes Yes, that is one factor indeed but my headers often go above the bar. I guess I should just go to the training arena to see how much power is right. I remember in some of the last Fifas there was a button that helped headers would be aimed lower on goal. Don't know if something similar still exists or if just the power makes all the difference nowadays.
@@macces82 RB + LB, I think it still works, I find you don't need much power these days, close you are to goal less power, just a bit more than a tap should be enough in most situations
Hey, thanks and I agree. I should have potentially included a segment about headers itself. For me it was mainly about the techniques for this video. Anyway, I will write a quick sum up.
1. Try to give the input for the header early enough, so your player has enough time to get in the proper position to get up in the air.
2. Don't put too much power in the header, as you might head it above the goal. I think most often I go for 40-50% power. But not something that I do really consciously.
3. Aim towards the goal. Sounds quite simple, but if you look at my goals here in the video, I most often just try to hit the goal. The headers are already quite powerful with the right players. So focus more on actually hitting the goal, instead of getting it perfectly placed into a corner.
4. Green timed finishing helps a lot. You see it in a lot of examples in this video. I green time quite a lot of headers.
L1+R1 isn't a thing anymore to my knowledge. It WAS the button combination to shot low and equally to go for a low header. It was removed for shots like 2 years ago and I think it is also removed for headers as well.

No, it's completely irrelevant and is just a visual gimmick
I still not quite understand how to take headers! Do you need to do timed shot or regular works ? Played around 2k games and scored maybe 20 headers 😤

But Benjamin why are my short players at the box instead of my taller player
Try to change the bars for corner or corner taker. This can mix it up a bit.
To be honest, I don't have this problem in FC 24 as often. Usually you get at least the tallest player or one who has good jumping/Aerial PlayStyle in the box.

Try to Press the Arrow up on your pad during a corner mate. Hope it helps
I think EA nerfed corners with the recent patch, it is really hard to generate enough power for crosses after the patch
I don't notice any changes to the presented techniques with the most recent patch. Still scored direct corners for example which would probably the most affected.
