Climbing a Greased Pole

For our church festival we play games. One of these games is climbing a greased pole to get a prize. The pole is soaked in water and the covered in grease which makes it extra slippery. You are able to use teams to claim the lower prizes but the last three prizes can only be won individually. The claim tickets are stapled near the top of the tree. The person who pulls the ticket wins the prize. I think it was three hours before the last prize was claimed.
