A good reference for this on yt is a video called "Did Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab Burn the Library of Alexandria?" by a youtuber called "Al Muqaddimah". Great Video as usual T3rr0r!

Isn't the Burning of the Library of Alexandria largely mythical in that there was no one event where a grand library was burned down overnight due to religious intolerance, but rather a gradual decay over many years, not to mention basically every text reportedly held in the library being copies of books that existed elsewhere, meaning the actual loss of media was probably far, far smaller than the historical myth would entail.
I know this is not the place, but I got banned from reddit a few times. To be clear, I can't find a game from the old amazon fire playstore that was about a labyrinth with average ghost depiction (With bed sheets and stuff) the starting room was a small square room, with gravel/dirt on the floor. The to the front door, a elegant red door, was in one of the corners of the room. The texture were pretty much realistic , with stone, gravel, bricks and dirt textures. The ghost looked had the shape of a pretty much pac-man ghost but they weren't pacman related at all. Also the ghost followed a walk pattern, they didn't follow the player.
i remember a game called little big planet 1 on ps3 but there was a entire area cut out very late into the production called seaside only a year ago they found files to play it the game is 14 years old
My current lost media hyperfixation is a showing of Jesus Christ Superstar starring Jack Black as King Herod. Recordings exist, the original owner of the theater died and the group disbanded. Wayback shows that they had a link to it, possibly to the recording itself but that part has not been saved. I've asked multiple cast members and most have lost it over the years and one said that Andrew Lloyd Webber (the writer of the musical) might have it.
When you sit down and really think about it, most people who uploaded old videoes or photos who had delete a selection of those media, has made some sort of lost media :O :D
a lost media rabbithole i have been going down is for the band "onyx colony" a band by will ryan/diamond armada/dagames/iris and i found most of the info and music but there is still missing albums and info no one knows and i had to dig into russian social media websites for old archives only to find not much of anything, the old youtube channel with most of the bands music "diamondarmada2008" was deleted years ago
