Good advice! I cried on the way there, when we got there, at our seats, the whole Taylor show (I walked around the stadium during her warmup band). I danced, screamed, sang, and cried for nearly 4 hours of Taylor, and on/off on the way home. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Last Kiss is a fan favorite, it’s so emo. Taylor said Last Kiss is the saddest song she’s ever written 🥹 Speak Now is so special, it’s like you can literally see her transitioning from girlhood to womanhood before our eyes, not only her songs & lyrics but how she carries herself, it’s just a magical era 💜
I know you keep loving how loud the fans are but remember, this was only 13,500 fans - Eras is going to be 70 - 90,000 SCREAMING fans knowing ALL the lyrics! You just didn’t hear them as loudly on the Eras movie b/c the production team muted them for the movie so I hope you buy some good concert earplugs b/c I promise you, it’s going to be LOUD 💜🫶🤘

Yeah i second getting proper earplugs. I got the loop experience ones. They were great. You could hear the actual music but the fans screaming was really muted. Also, I think everyone should wear earplugs, because then you actually hear yourself singing too. So it eliminates the screaming singing from people. I had a girl behind me, and she was singing along being happy and having a great time. Then someone for some unexplained reason got her to remove her earplugs. And the screeching that followed the next songs was pretty tragic.
Earplugs protects your hearing and also protects you from making an ass of yourself singing loudly and out og key. No downside.
Last kiss is one of my favorite songs from the album Speak Now, when you get to the bridge there's no way you won't cry... "So I'll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep..." Wow, this breaks the heart.

I was lucky enough to see the 'Speak Now' tour live. So far, my only Taylor concert. I'm not sure if I could handle a full blown stadium show.
As a fun fact, part of what she did on that secondary stage was - similar to the Eras Tour acoustic set - she would cover a song from an artist from whatever state she was in. For my show in Bossier City, LA, she covered Brittany Spears 'Lucky'. Other notable songs from that tour...I'm pretty sure she did 'Lose Yourself' in one of her Michigan shows. And the 'Drops of Jupiter' from her San Francisco show was included on the 'Speak Now' Live Tour album....

Someone needs to tell Luke all the Swifty chants that are done during the concert. I know some of them-Delicate- after she sings “but you can make me a drink” (chant 1,2,3 let’s go bitch). Bejeweled- she sings “and by the way” (chant where you going Taylor) and she sings I’m going out tonight. I took my daughter to Gillette Stadium to see this concert, it was amazing even back then. I loved the part with her sitting by the tree playing a guitar or yuk of something. I’ve loved Taylor since I heard Tim McGraw and our song. I love your reactions!

It’s almost 3 1/2 hours of dancing and screaming lyrics and we’re not young anymore 😂 (#SeniorSwifties). Ok on the friendship bracelets, I totally understand feeling uncomfortable about talking to strangers, but if you can try to step out of your comfort zone and go up to people, you will trade a lot more bracelets that way, cause a lot of people are unsure about going up to people. I promise everyone is extremely nice at the concert and wants to trade. Talk to people standing next to you in line, or if you see someone in a cool outfit tell them you like their outfit and then ask them if they want a bracelet. If you see people with no bracelets, ask them if they want one. Give one to the person working the concession stand, you will make their day to include them! I am an introvert and generally not comfortable with talking to strangers, but I managed to give out 40 bracelets at each of my 2 shows and everyone was so excited to trade and really nice!
As far as I know this is the only concert that she released on DVD and live performance cd. If you are a Swiftie you have already watched this at least once! I loved it too!

Last Kiss is brutal. It always reminds me of how I felt after my first serious boyfriend cheated on me and broke up with me. I didn't see it coming. Like most young idiots I just assumed we'd grow up and get married. The "I'll feel you forget me like I used to feel you breathe". Ugh. So hard realizing for the first time that your lives will go separate ways. Eventually you realize that's okay and even good but man it sucks at 17. She put the feeling into words perfectly.
I made far too many friendship bracelets for my show. I made one for every song on every album 😂 I had a whole tote bag. I only finished them the day before because we got the double album for TTPD so I was STRESSED trying to finish them all 😂. I met some lovely people. My ice breaker was asking their favourite album/era and I had them all organised on plastic shower curtain rings by album so I was able to pull that bunch out at a time for whatever was their favourite. I came home with just less than half of what I made, I'm chronically ill so I had to sit down for a bit to rest before the show so ran out of time. I was giving them to people who hadn't had time to make any because I wanted to include them too. It was just the nicest collective vibe ever with all the swifties. I was swapping with everyone from little kids to the middle aged swifties lol. It was so fun x

Hanging round before the concerts if you have bracelets on a ring or a strap people will just come up to you and ask to swap, swapped/gave out about 180 in June and got 80 back, for August 19th I've made special ones for the police officers and for the security personnel as they are so awesome keeping everyone safe 💜
I am really shy and usually don’t start conversations but with swifties I would see if they had lots of bracelets and just go hi do you want to trade bracelets and other people would come and continue trading. On my first night I had already traded over like 30 bracelets before the opening act was on.

FYI Speak Now is her LONGEST album..14 tracks over 67 mins (for the standard version) released in 2010 until Tortured Poets double album took over the reign. Only few tracks clock below 4 mins, most is near 5 mins & some are over 5 mins & 6 mins.. & add some intros (music or her chats) for most songs on this tour, they became sort of a deluxe version of itself & that's why, this is the ONLY tour she has ever released the audio live version of the tour on cd's..

Luke on the bracelets, if you’re planning on getting there a bit early look around and see what other people are doing, you’ll catch on don’t worry but if you’re running to the last minute, you’ll get chatting to people in the queue, the people sat next to you, anybody that does recognise you and wonders over to chat, they’re the people to bracelet swap with. If you see someone famous as you’re walking to your area, say Hi and swap a bracelet, if you’re shy as you say get you’re good lady to make the initial contact. Also there will be complete randoms that are so caught up in the whole event and atmosphere, you’ll get people throwing their bracelets around and not really waiting for one in return, it can get a bit bizarre but it’s all part of the experience. I don't know how I forgot about Fearless, but you NEED to hear the studio version (It's not on a ukulele, and has a slightly faster beat, which somehow changes the sound entirely lol!) Not to say this version isn't great, it is, but the original is one of my alltime fave's.

lol Fearless wasn't a mashup, just a very different arrangement than the original from the Fearless album. I loved how they toned down the band to let her be the focus -- Adam, the bass player, is always great. The double axe guitar Grant Mickelson used in Speak Now is a 12 - string 6 - string combo; you don't use one unless you need to switch back and forth. The things aren't light. I have awful regret that I didn’t go to her earlier concerts because they’re all so good. I have not seen one concert that was mediocre. Taylor is a natural born entertainer who was gifted with such a beautiful voice and huge heart.
