So I did go back and check, and officially, as far as the episode stated, Gorgug started out the night as the crab king and eventually passed his crown to Riz. Ragh was not, in fact, the crab king as far as we saw in the episode; the last thing shown was the passing of the crown to Riz and then a cutaway to the next morning. So while it's possible Riz passed the crown to Ragh after we cut away but before the next morning, in the official canon, Riz remains the reigning crab king, not Ragh. PS: Fabian initially was the one to announce he was the little shrimp, and we never see Riz get officially declared the little shrimp. However, immediately after Gorgug crowning him the crab king, Riz does say that he was the little shrimp prior to being the crab king. Ragh's main involvement we see in the episode was telling Tracker that she wasn't lobster enough. In canon, everybody was absolutely wasted except Adaine and Fig (who immediately left with Ayda, and then left for the hot tub), so it's possible that no one remembered the night except Adaine, who misreported who the crab king was. 2:25:22 I feel like this is one of the reasons I love brennans DMing, that it isnt "ill hold onto this shield spell til its useable" its "chungledown sees something about to hit him, his instinct is to cast shield, he doesnt know that you rollled a 19 and the shield wont work for him"
On further viewing I love more things: - Allewyn is introduced very charming but the only sprite available is her destitute and completely miserable - Brennan named the edgy teen boy "Durden" - It would be SO hype if they went to the lan party and Chungledown Bim showed up virtualy - No one eats the chilly - Riz just has a bunch of wealthy friends with cars, mansions and concert money and he lives in a run down appartment with his mom trying to make ends meet - Tracker could possibly be the villain of the next campaign, considering the moon and the possible connections to the Night Yorb (whatever Brennan ends up deciding that is). Also, could just be a very helpful cult leader and girlfriend, but... I would love her as a villain, though, the drama of it! - This exact situation with the girls around would've either ended super quickly or gotten ten times more chaotic, cannot decide - The fight with the level 20 warlock lasted two or three rounds - In no way does "Chungledown Bim has reached your city" allow for a happy ending at all, he knows where they live, Fabian's house is kinda super noticeable and they no longer have Kathilda there
Oh, villain Tracker! I was theorizing that she hooked up with someone on the road and Ragh doesn't know how to bring it up or what to say to Kristen. Your mind went DnD, my mind went high school. I hope it's your thing because honestly it makes the most sense. Kristen's religious journey is basically done so narratively it would make sense that her new season conflict to focus fully on her relationships.
Side note: Jaw Bone being all “might pass a beer around” is real funny considering that his past was full of activities that made the head man of Leviathan blush.
2:18:30 It's now cannon in my eyes that whenever Fabian is concentrating under stress whether in battle or in an exam, he hums either sea chanties or christmas carols to himself quietly
I do love that the vast majority of living dads in the series are Fig's. Obviously Jawbone is also Adaine's but Jawbone, Gilear, Gorthalax...when Digbe posited a dad hangout, I immediately thought of the fact that the majority of the bad kids just don't have living parents lol.
all of the bad kids have living parents: Gorgug has both his biological and adoptive parents, Fabian still has his mom, has Cathilda and will soon have Gilear, Riz still has his mom and may soon have Gorthalax, Kristen has her mom and dad still alive although they don't talk anymore, Fig has her mom, her biological dad, her adoptive dad and her soon-to-be step-dad and Adaine has killed her dad but she now has Jawbone and possibly Sandra-Lynn but it's true that half of the bad kids have dead parents

This is the funniest fantasy high episode. I wish it wasn't littered with references to past seasons so i could show people the potential of dnd with this, but the references is what make it a great episode as well. The utter choas and braindead the bad boys are is the best. Loved the ending as well. It went full circle
I am just imagining the adventures of the Seven plus four while watching this. Also imagining any attempted live show with all of them - it would be so chaotic.
Adaine and Riz are both the sane ones. The difference is Adaine isn't susceptible to peer pressure like Riz. Leave Riz with just the crazy ones and he'll simply be pressured to just join the crazies.
it's kinda sweet how this party was so crazy and intimidating that when Fabian became Maximum Legend he made sure his parties were chill and open to everyone

A D&D game has never made me laugh this hard. I love these boys.
Watching Lou react to Brennan's description of the breakfast Digby is making for Gorgug is all I needed this morning.
Chungledown’s movement speed must be just shy of 400 feet if he’s pure warlock
He cheesed a way to get longstrider expeditious retreat and haste on him at the same time
@@mixmastermind He has two teddy bear of helpfulnesses
@@mixmastermind oh damn
If he was, as Brennan said, going 90 miles per hour, then that would actually be just under 800 feet per round. Truly terrifying.
@@negativeresponse9165 for real
Just want to say, this is a MASSIVE step in in quality from pirates of leviathan in terms of video quality and editing.
There is no editing - this was played live
@@catrosenight Do you think all that B-Roll and cuts to character art just happens on its own? Live editing is a thing.
got turned off by leviathan. I thought i would like the players and characters but it didn't click for me - I feel like the editing may have been why
@@tomterry2370 well the upcoming "Unsleeping City Chapter 2" has much more refined editing, plus digital battle maps!
Pirates of leviathan was recorded much before this. And its pretty clear that adjuating to this format has been rough.
Lou as Fabian is the best actor/character pairing
This is the funniest fantasy high episode. I wish it wasn't littered with references to past seasons so i could show people the potential of dnd with this, but the references is what make it a great episode as well. The utter choas and braindead the bad boys are is the best. Loved the ending as well. It went full circle
I am just imagining the adventures of the Seven plus four while watching this. Also imagining any attempted live show with all of them - it would be so chaotic.
2:09:54 I wish there was a version of this without the character card, so we can see Lou’s reactions
Dimension 20 is the cream of the crop
Digby and Wilma are so, so flipping cute, I love them! Like, I would die for those gnomes.
Jawbone is to precious for this world, good lord
"what if we got some of the dad's together for a boys night?" Riz and Fabian, the only boys of the group currently in town: '_'
How are the girls both the totally crazy ones, and also the rational ones in this friend group?
because they are all disasters, but the boys are the awkward ones
Between the three of them, they span the entire gamut.
Riz's insane nat 20s proves to me that another member of the group is like Kryptonite for Murph's Dice. I think it's Ally, they roll too well for a normal human.
Ally is a luck sponge
Do I miss being an awkward teen with little social understanding? No.
Does this session intro provide an uncanny reminder of that time? Yes.
oh I LOVE how they have the pronouns of the characters and the players underneath their names
I got really happy at the mention of the seven maidens, love them a lot, that was probably the most fun Fantasy High adjacent story so far
Brennan truly is all of our dad
How much money do I need to come up with to produce the Hallalriel & Gehleer Cooking Show? That is the only thing I want to watch, EVER!
Also DAMN! Return of the most terrifying character since Baron!
How do they not realise that Fabian house, you know the super pirate place would not have rum in it?
Good luck finding it without Cathilda
Cathilda probably got rid of it when Fabian's mom quit drinking
Y'all just cured my depression.....
okay great session, but here's what I wanna know: when are we getting another dimension 20 spinoff based on the Reformed Villain Squad
1:40:53 This is going to my compilation of my favourite Murph reactions
Oh bless you, you absolute chaos monsters on a rager! Amazing storytelling, great party, shenanigans abound!
This is an absolute gem
Seeing this on my feed this morning has put me in a great mood! Hoot Growl!
Ragh is a bear now
"I'm a bear guy now."
Just... the anxiety of this episode...
I would totally buy a campaign book for the series. Love you guys 😅👍
2:11:47 HE'S REAL! CHUNGLEDOWN BIM IS REAL!!
mad respect to what i assume is an anglicization of “do’urden” to “durden” as the drow family’s last name
The ending feels like a Regular Show ending
omg the way brennan described law school is very spot on
Always a pleasure to watch you all have fun, I always aim for that level of engagement in my story telling
Chungle Down Bim was indeed all you needed to say.
20 minutes in and i just remembered the night yorb. i wonder if that’s gonna be a different 1 shot that takes place before this, so everyone can be involved
I believe the nightyorb will be the third season of Fantasy High
@Jason Bryant did you see the finale?
@Jason Bryant i don’t think brennan would write something for an easy pop then not deliver
Do not mention the Nightyorb
My guess is that the Night Yorb was a threat that was dealt with off-screen after the events of Sophomore Year
