why didn’t you put the holes in the front of the guitar? Where the sides come at the top and sides at the bottom come into the neck? I heard a Spanish guitar like that and it’s projection to the audience was fantastic. You could hear the full guitar, with the two little holes in the front and his regular sound hole but on the other hand is a person playing the guitar and I’m not so sure what he heard, but I think it was enhance because it was just so much louder than a regular Spanish guitar with just one hole in the middle.
@stanwest3529 That's kind of subjective - evolution being what it is. Torres was constantly pushing the boundaries of what was possible and that is exactly what John did with this guitar in 1996. The joy of it all is that these days a Torres is actually cheaper than a guitar from John Monteleone so it's win win in that regard.

I can't understand what you're saying
The ports are for the PLAYER, not the audience.
I think Torres got it just about right in the 1800s...never been improved upon
Torres was a man of innovation, just like this luthier.
