Nice to see some of the tracks I regularly ride around my home town of Crowle. There’s so many other paths you can use around the area with places like Swinefleet, Luddington & Amcotts all accessible without really using any roads. I’m surprised you got across the moors without a puncture though, last time I went through the Crowle side of the moors I got 2 punctures within 5 minutes of each other around 3 miles from Crowle and had to carry my bike home.

Hi James. I did see a fair few paths on my travels. Not an area I am familiar with but was good as a debut. A vast area for sure and I will be back to the Moors in a video but from a different side in time. I ride with the green gunk in my tyres as I felt your pain with 2 punctures in as many minutes a while back. I thought never again :)

Crowle and Thorne Moors is a peat moor, that's why its so spongey, I've spent many days out there and my best advice is don't go off the path, unless its clear high ground, pretty much all the moor was extracted for peat, so a lot of the land of the path is lower (where peat has been dug out) and in turn wetter. You'll find yourself knee deep in mud if you aren't careful. It's a great place but if you don't know your way around its easy to get lost. there is dozens of paths, there is some better ones more suitable for bikes.

@@donnyladmtb25 There are no designated cycle routes on Thorne Moors, I’m afraid.
