Air Fryer Ham
Ingredients:
* Ham (sized for your air fryer)
* Foil for wrapping the ham
* For Glaze:
* 1 Tablespoon orange juice or pineapple juice
* 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar
* 1 Tablespoon of honey
* 1 teaspoon of dried mustard (or 1 Tablespoon of table mustard)
Ham should be cooked for 8-12 minutes per pound. Once you calculate the amount of time your ham will require, take away 10-15 minutes for browning time, then split the other number in two.
Example:
8lb ham x 8 minutes = 64 minutes total cook time
64 - 15 minute browning time = 54 minutes
54 minutes split in half = 1st and second cook times of 27 minutes each
Instructions:
* Defrost the Ham in the refrigerator
* Trim the ham to fit into your air fryer, or preslice so it will fit.
* Wrap tightly in foil.
* Air fry at 320 for first calculated cook time
* Open foil and glaze ham.
* Reclose the foil and set air fry at 320 for the second calculated time.
* Open foil and check the temp of your ham. It should be upwards of 10 degrees of your final ideal temp (145 for pork).
* Reset your air fryer at 320 for 10-15 minutes to brown and finish.
* Serve.

Great looking ham. I love ham. I will try it in my air fryer. Thank you!
Heather, my friend, I think you should support your air fryer door cuz it sure does bend when that ham comes out. Would hate to see you break your fryer door🇨🇦❤️🎄💐
That ham looks awesome
Oooooooo, Thanks for sharing! Because I’m trying to make a ham in an air fryer for my Noche Buena dinner on Filipino Christmas!
Enjoy! It's the only way we will make ham in this house! :)
@@AdventuresinEverydayCooking Okay!
Looks beautiful. Agree about the door. Don’t rest heavy things on it. You don’t want to damage the hinge. Also, i would like to know the internal temp and see a cut close to the bone. But, great video. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, good point! The next time I do a large piece of meat I will cut in the middle! Thank you!
Thanks 😊
You are welcome!
It looked delicious. I pretty much just needed to have the time frames and the temp. A totally different air fryer I have but just the general abouts was what was necessary. I guess with all I have to accomplish today I found myself a little impatient when listening to how you over lapped the foil etc I thought that was way too much going on about. Knowing I citrus use foil was great and to get it at a Browning point was must excellent. Thank you now gotta run.
Sorry about that! This was in my earlier days of YT and didn't know how to edit as successfully as I do now :) BUT thank you for your comment :) It does help me improve :)
Why do the glaze first & put it to one side for 25 minutes?
So that the top gets the nice crisp but isn't candy coated ;)
Can you add pineapple 🍍and cherries 🍒?
I bet you could!
whatsb the temperature suppose to be? next time let us know the internal temperature of a ham or turkey or chicken.
Ohhh that sounds awful...ly delicious LOL I want to say I shouldn't try that but... I'm going to try that ;)
My ham always produces a lot of juice, that one didn't seem to any.
Maybe it was a questionable ham? LOL I can't remember that long ago. ;)
