I've been subscribed since you started the Oculus Go videos. So happy you've been doing so well with VR. Some of us feel VR is so much more than cool games. It's a release for the shutins, a way to experience things that the average Joe will never. Thanks for your awesome videos.
I still expect you to say Oculus Go in your intro spiel " Evenin all Ramarcus here, back again with another video, back again with another Oculus Go video! " I guess I'm showing my age, lol! Wasn't sure if you were aware of the recent Oculus Go issues with Meta's authentication request checks failing due to them shutting it off at their end, very sad for those still using it. Anyway... That looks like an awesome idea! You're absolutely right that space is always the issue especially here in the UK, I'm quite lucky to have a fairly big living room but the kids soon cause enough mess for it to be a pain to tidy up every time I want to do some VR. I didn't catch where this new VRcade set up is. I'm assuming not in Gloucester from the way you're talking about it? Best of luck with it, good to see the Quest 2 still relevant in VR today. I was just thinking the other day you've been a bit quiet, now I know why.
Yeah it's in Cheltenham, the town over. Only about 20 mins away. I have a load of Go's and always meant to offer them to customers so parents could watch videos while the kids played... never got around to it. 🙃
Awesome video. cant wait to se it fully booked and some updates . was awesome coming to visit the arena on Saturday . shame i couldn't jump in on a group but maybe next time .
@@RaMarcus it appears you doing very well on how things have progressed since the first launch. You made it through the COVID pandemic so you make through any ups and downs as a great mind with great ideas will prosper. Keep the video updates coming Marcus, and the best of luck in all you do providing entertainment like no other four all ages.
Congratulations on getting this set up. I have had chance to try the Star Wars Tales From the Galaxy's Edge in the starting ship. It was incredible to be able to walk around the space. Good luck and hope it works out well and gets busier. Having a large space to play will be a USP.
Glad to hear. Which headset you run depends on what type of VR you intend to run. Different headsets have different uses. What sort of experiences are you going to offer?
Cool concept! Maybe you can create a loyalty/referal program to drive traffic? Like get one free game after 4, or 10% off for a booked referral. Best of luck!
Congrats. You might want to plug what town and where in the town you are located (like show it on google maps) might help people to join you. Unfortunately I live in the USA so I cannot help much. Good luck and wish you the best.
i suggested maybe a little vr racing sim in the corner so that if a lone visitor like i was could jump on that and that way he could earn a little money instead of turning them away.
@UnwellGaming I can't afford one for now (plus I would need to pack it away each evening because of where it is). I'll think of something for single players. 🤔
Nice :) Maybe, go round some local schools saying Students get £5 discount just by saying they go to that school! And £5 single games available during quiet times. For a limited time only lol
We're only open at the weekends and school holidays for now as it's so quiet in the week, plus I need to man the main arcade. Got a few nice bookings in for the weekend so it's looking up.
I am really surprised VR arcades are profitable when you can get headsets so cheap now. Don't get me wrong, I love that your successful and thats awesome getting more people into VR. Do you think its a space issue? Like people don't have the space at home? Or just people don't want to spend $200 to try it out?
A lot more people than ever have a VR headset, but it's still not as popular as a PlayStation, still niche. Some families have one headset, and very few have two or more, let alone the space to play together. We focus on multiplayer experiences and a lot of the games are arcade exclusive so you can't play those at home. I won't be a millionaire any time soon but it does pay for itself and gives me a wage.
Looks cool. Large scale VR is so cool, actually being able to move around freely.
It's great fun, people have been really enjoying it. 😉

Thanks for sticking with me and still following after all this time. 😁
same here, and i admire your dedication
Congrats on the LAUNCH m8!
Thanks PD.

Congratulations Ramascus, you were my inspiration for setting up my VR arcade
The free roam VR is the next level and I have also set this up
That's cool to hear mate, I hope it's going well.
Marcus, remember me! I used to watch you all the time!

Next time mate. You'll have to eat your burger quicker 😋
@@RaMarcus yeah or go without the wife and kids which sounds like fun. Rofl
Great new venue - perfect timing for the summer holidays - hope it goes well
That's the plan. Become a millionaire over the summer 😎
Cool to see ! Hope it will works !
Thank you.
Looks like an awesome set up. Wish there was a place like that near me. Good luck!
Maybe I'll eventually open one near you. 😉
Nice seeing you back Marcus, hope your keeping ok
I'm doing great, little tired, maybe but pushing on to try and make this a success.

Just discovered your channel. Awesome stuff. I plan on opening a vr arcade as well. Which vr headset is best for such a business?

Thanks. They get more games for less the more they spend, plus 8th player is free. Already have a few nice bookings for next weekend so that's good. 👌

Thanks, our website has all the details and directions. It's how we get most of our bookings for now.
thoughts on otherworld closing down?
Didn't know they did, can't say I know any locations near me. It's a shame but it's not an easy business to make work.
Hello again! 😁 Do you have any Mixed reality experiences? That or a waiting area with ar glasses? I'm making plans for your business don't mind me. 😂
Not yet, I don't think there is any truly compelling content yet. One day. 😉

Schools and college won't allow it. Unless it is for education.
