  • After getting stuck in Loughborough we finally get started up the Trent and Mersey Canal. These first few videos of 2024 cover old ground. Back to the slower tempo soon when we look forward to sharing new locations and explores.

Any footage of you pulling up to and getting into position at the fuel dock? Not trying to find faults but for someone that has had very little narrowboat experience I would find it helpful. Thanks

Thanks for watching. I'll see if I can find any more but unfortunately I usually delete source clips once a video has gone live on RUclips to save space on my laptop. Cheers

@@themeanderingmedic8533 We recently hired a narrowboat for a week and having never driven one before, we found it easy enough but it wasn't as easy mooring first time. Out intentions were first to test as we intend retiring on one in a year or two.

I would suggest you book into a RYA helmsman course. Really helpful and an enjoyable day on the water.

You are spot on. To be fair we never had any issues and had the boat for a full week, went up the Falkirk wheel and through a few locks. Fully enjoyed it. Thanks for the advise.
