It’s 8:41 a.m. here in Minnesota; my city of St. Paul. You guys are 9 hours ahead of me. I know eventually your 2 big cats will be buddies. 1 male; 1 female, different breeds, plus depend on which 1 you had longer: because the cat there longer might get territorial. But just makes me laugh: Greta is a momma’s girl; Messi’s a daddy’s boy. Too funny😊! But I also like to watch Miss Gerda walk: she has the walk of a Supermodel. When both of you can get cameras up really close; it’s beautiful to see their faces up close. And their big feet.😀!! I know I always say it; but when I came across a Messi video on RUclips initially; I fell in love with him: his eyes got my heart! But am an animal lover, so to see these awesome cats like this, is amazing. Teaches me alot! I know they can have bad days/crabby days just like us humans. But from myself; I just want to say a big THANK YOU for taking care of God’s creatures. 😍
This reminds me of a vlog 2 years ago when they were playing in the snow for the first time. It was incredible watching them then & even more now, as they get along so well. Sasha & Masha's love & patience made this happen. 2 very happy fur kids frolicking in the snow. So special to watch. Its 10:50 pm where I live. In a little more than an hour we will leave 2022 behind. I wish evryone a Happy New Year 2023 💛💛💛

I think they may be playing. All animals seem to like the chase game. Universal type of play. Even animals of different species will play together in this way. We have lots of wildlife where I live and I have watched a young deer and a fox play this way together.
I think this chase between Messi and Gerda is the start of signaling that both cats want to play.
Especially since Gerda is allowing Messi to be the chaser. She is clearly faster than Messi, but allows him to nearly catch up. Smart girl. Usually Messi acts fearful when he runs from Gerda.
Hope the new year will bring them closer. Having a play companion wood enrich both of their lives.
