I like more organic, textured, colorful, vibrant with character with a dash of whimsy and sophistication. But very luxurious home. It's smart that in such a large home, there are kitchenettes everywhere - you don't have to walk a mile to get coffee, a drink or a snack. That's the one feature missing in Ramtin Ray's homes which are closer to my desire.

I think it would have been better to eliminate the benches from the short ends so that it could also be used as a lap pool ...but that’s a minor detail. Second: I love the book-matched marble. The spaces where I found it most appealing were in the first guest bedroom, and in the charming corner “coffee bar” shown. Third: The gated entry and curving drive up to the home (the paving was also exquisite). Fourth: The outdoor terraces. Is a home even a mansion without an outdoor terrace? I think not. Lastly: I adore the hand-cast scrolls in the front and back of the home. They lend an air of sophistication and grandeur that elevate the façades from the mundane to the extraordinary.
