Absolutely fantastic little lessons. I recently received a beautiful Martin Baritone from the sixties. Ordered a tuner and with your teaching I’m off and running and it’s like medicine. These are GREAT. Thank you!! Please don’t stop.

I must admit, besides learning the song, I find my self skipping to the play along most of the times to hear you singing and flowing. I really like that! Thank you for your work.

So much fun! My baritone uke hangs on the wall behind my desk, always ready to play (hint). 4 soft strings and 4 left hand fingers (if you're a righty) plus a shorter scale makes this a chord machine, the low 4th making it sound much like a guitar. Beyond strumming, playing chord melodies can sound magical. Why so few still have discovered this wonderful instrument is beyond me.

Kevin, thank you so much. Barre chords're fun you taught me, us. They do take time, patience, but they're not as difficult as they seem. I love your encouraging and supportive words in every video. It's one of the reasons, why I subscribed to your channel. Thanks to you I try everything you suggest. thank you. It's the only thing I think about your videos. They're super informative and useful. What I need other uke channels for, if I watch only your channel?
And I have never seen strumming pattern, starting with up strum.
I play my uke, not baritone in Russia.
    Have a great weekend.
    Love and appreciate you.

The strumming was challenging being that my experience has been with classical guitar playing and I like to pluck strings and play notes.... but I kept replaying the video and managed to follow along. The volume of my laptop is rather low too, but in 2-3 days I have learned a lot and can keep up, recall the chords and am improving quickly.

That was a good work out for the hand, especially the F chord, ugh it's my enemy, but I am determined. Thank you for making this video (and your others you make), they are all very helpful and just wanted to give you thanks.

Hello Kevin, thank you for your Baritone tutorials. Thanks to you I just ordered a Baritone Uke and I am going to follow all of your tutorials. A question for you: Would you consider doing a tutorial for the song "What's up" by 4-non Blondes? I found one for the Concert Uke but cannot find one for the Baritone. What do you think??? Your Baritone tutorials are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

hello Kevin, your lesson on ukulele for this song ,Have you ever seen the rain by ccr was so great.I learned a different uku chordshape.
The only bad for this is you're voice off the note!
I dont meant to offend you by that but sorry.

I feel exactly like I did my junior year in highschool when I missed 2½ weeks of school because of mono. Prior to getting sick I was calculating complex equations with my classmates during 2nd hour trigonometry, but when I came back, suddenly they were all Carl Gauss and would spend the entire class using binary coded riddles to solve life altering equations involving a 16 dimensional multiverse located somewhere on an adjacent plane... whilst I sat in the corner and just tried to remember how to turn my calculator on.
Do I NEED a baritone uke? I can't just play this song with my soprano? Do I need to NOT play the soprano uke? Am I grouping myself unknowingly with the preschoolers? (albeit cool preschoolers) Could I just tune my uke so I have the same string letters as you? I'm so confused. My lockdown goal was to learn how to play Eve of Destruction on the ukulele (I wasn't aware of the variety until post soprano purchase on Amazon) and impress my dad (vietnam vet), but there's only one tutorial for that song, and although I'm appreciative and it'll due... It really sounds nothing like the song UNLESS I sing along with it and there's no lockdown long enough to correct my "I really shouldn't be singing" voice . My vocal range is somewhere between a drowning playpus and an obscure medical condition resulting in a robotic voice box.
I feel like I can still knock this out of the park, though. If I get a baritone will the magic kick in?!
    Not asking for a friend.😏

Hi I've just bought a guitarlele and really enjoying learning have you ever seen the rain.
I'm stuck on the riff and of course I know that my instrument is difficult.
Would you be able to give me any help in being able to play the riff.
No worries if you don't have time because no doubt your time is precious.
    Thanks Robbie

Great video. Would love to see some baritone uke/videos which don't waste time on the basic chords. They don't need to show basic chords every time. I've playing guitar/uke for 50 years. I just want to learn something new.
