You spoke so much truth, I fell into legalism for the longest, it’s still something I have to repent of. (And you hit the nail on the head about how western society ties into it.) For the longest time I struggled with shame. How can God love me when I keep turning from Him? Turns out what I needed was humility. God’s standards are much higher than my own, I needed to humble myself to recognize that and let Him love me.
Woahh I used to watch your videos a few years ago. I decided to get rid of social media when I decided to follow Jesus and allow Him to turn my life around so I haven’t been on RUclips until recently. I randomly thought of you just now and am so so so happy to see where you’re at spirituality! Praise God!!!!
I remember one day I got a prophecy from my sister she was telling me how god would restore things that were taken from me. I remember just wondering like “God why do you love me so much I literally do the opposite of what you would want me to do”. I then learned that hey he really does like me and that’s love that I think we won’t be able to find in anyone else but him!💕
I pray for your healing and deliverance. May God receive all the glory. I was lead to comment God does Love you and he Does hear from you, your prayers. Be still and know that he is God. Shalom! this is soooo real & I appreciate you for sharing! even you addressing dancing spoke to me because the Lord has been dealing with me to pursue dance (in his name ofc) and I have yet to hear anybody really see that as a "talent" of God. idk but it just spoke to me. so thankssss
