Super glad you post these videos, I can’t keep up with all the amazing knowledge he throws out.. Helps a lot to be able to rewind and listen to it again! ❤Very interesting stuff! Thanks so much!
Glad you like them! You are a welcome addition to the Hangouts. You made an appearance at 15:05 in this video. (looking good) Thanks for the encouragement.
Great to hear! I have so much more that I can't make look this good and don't want to risk my brand with lessor quality videos. MEMBERS ONLY COMING SOON! (thanks for letting me plug myself) Your comment meant a great deal to me. ✨
@topherspin I take it to heart your teaching such a tough subject in this economy its like gold fever reading comments as well as a lot of false information out there it makes it all messy, but you, your guest, your panels, the information links are helping me see through the clutter. Seems like your building a giant meteorite family that I want to be a part of :)
@chrisrozier9787 It is pretty crazy how many people 'demand' my time personally after I say no and lead them straight to the knowledge. They want money not wisdom. SO MUCH bad information out there with people patting each other on the back for their backyard gravel!! Join the family!!
Daniel is to the T for sure 😅. I question the classified CL3 i had Tony classify. I was told CL3.9 but now it's a CL3 . ? Only 2 classified as CL3. I have 53 grams left over from classification. I have 100 or so more that's not classified. I was curious if I can pair them myself? Hello Topher hope all is well.
NWA 15588 is classified as a CL3 officially. But the classifier's notes say that it must be is the 3.5 to 3.6 range. If you are 100% sure it is the same material from the same place, you can self-pair the remaining 53g. It would be have been better to have it all added to the TKW in the MetBull. Not sure why it wasn't. Some people hold back material so the TKW is documented to be low and makes the material able to be seen as more valuable. This is not an honest practice. (I am not at all saying this about you.)
Bill Clinton said it best, " It depends on what the word 'is' is ?" This is above my pay grade, but I question everything to failure at my level. So, I can at least appreciate what was taught here. Another great video.
Kewl Video!!! I have been looking for a 'splitter ' to assist with some rather rare Martian materials . IE; I have unknown inclusions in a variety of Spherulitic samples. Metals, k-feldspars, others.
I love this I am trying to learn so much I think I have maybe some pieces of meteorites I don't know because no one will tell me one of you would just give me a heads up
Awesome. Have you subscribed yet? I don't offer free services to help ID stones. I am not a trained Geologist. Do you believe that you really have a meteorite? Submit pictures to: facebook.com/groups/isitameteorite or facebook.com/groups/meteorite.or.meteorwrong. The power of the Facebook Groups I recommend is that there are a bunch of knowledgeable geologists and meteorite people in there.

My hero!! I do appreciate your financial help as I try to move to this full time.
Is there a good beginners book to learning about meteorite classification or just knowledge in general?
Search my channel for "books" for a complete video about all books. "Rocks from Space 2nd edition" Norton
