"French Quarter" "New orleans"
My brain : ORIGINALS!!!!!!!!
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAA
My brain: Lestat and Louie.
When i hear about the french quarter i always think of that disney film with the princess that kisses the frog & the originals!!
Boring , I think of the originals
where all the originals and vampire diaries fans @ I know we all here because of that hahahah
Many of them commenting here for sure haha
Anne Rice set Interview with a Vampire. First book in the Vampire Chronicles in New Orleans
So true
Obviously
Red dead redemption actually
I was born and raised here. I think everyone should visit Louisiana once in there life. Its amazing there. The food is awesome.
Yeah its something else!
The crawfish though and does anyone call them Crawdads because I didn't know that until recently when my friend and I were talking.
@@umbrella2150 I'm born and raised in the 504 and we dont call them crawdad there just crawfish.
They’re*
Lovely City, I really love it we stayed a few days and had a good time ,from Paris France
Omg it’s just like how it is in the originals 😀😱
Haha had that comment a few times, never watched it but glad that it reminds you of it :D
Christina Mcknight same here
You can never find the real feeling spirit of. NEW ORLEANS ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.
IT IS A BLEND OF PAST. PRESENT. AND FUTURE.
I MISS IT VERY MUCH AND THE FRIENDS I HAD MADE THERE.
I love when I see new ppl visiting my home.
😁
As always you capture the most beautiful images. The street performers were no joke.
Thanks dudes! there were many more street performers i filmed too, all so talented.
The French Quarter looks larger than what I imagined it would be.
Yeah it is very big actually. Could walk around it all day, so many streets there :D
It's an actual living, breathing neighborhood. It's a decent size but most people's perception of it is shaped by the popularity of the 'party' areas like Bourbon st..
Take a break from the city next time and visit us in the swamps! www.NewOrleansKayakSwampTours.com
Would be interesting!
I’ll be there next month. Doing a lot of research on the history of New Orleans itself. Can’t wait to soak up the culture, the people, the food, the music, etc. so excited!!!! 💜🥰
How was your trip? ❤
does any one think of the originals or vampire diaries when u hear new orleans??
many people have mentioned the originals haha
Grace shonge no I think of home
I think of True Blood for some reason though that was more of rural Louisiana...and partly filmed in South California too.
American horror story too!
Yes
I'm born and raised in new Orleans and watched the originals
lol
Lol everybody comments on this video because of the originals, i have never seen it yet haha
The lovely and talented Doreen Ketchens at 1:00 marker. She is seriously so amazing.
I agree!
Such a beautiful place, so vibrant and full of culture. It is on my “to visit” list, number 1.
It’s awesome! Been there 3 times and loved it each time
The Architecture is absolutely stunning ! - Would love to visit this wonderful place !
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us !
I'm litterally only here because I finished watching this princess and the frog for the 4th time
Everyone is talking about the Originals. New orleans is so much more than a city referenced on a t.v. show. People from Louisiana take sooo much pride in this city. This place is so magical.
Hell yeah man. I love New Orleans. I only spent a couple days there last time but I plan on spending a few weeks to a month there when I pass through, can't wait. The music, the art, good capturing it
Thanks bro! It sure is an amazing place!
Great video! I'm glad that you guys enjoyed our beautiful city.
Saint Denis is looking beautiful!
wardkdouglas I HAVE A PLAN
Evan woop woop

This tour was way more fun than most. Thanks so much.
Love New Orleans ❤ It seems like a magical place with such an amazing climat to it. Would love to visit some day. It's my dream place to move to 🤩
Enjoyed your video greatly. I lived in NO LA for several years, some in the French Quarter. It was nice to see someone treat the city respectfully after another one where the person had not done any research and was insulting.
Hiya Chris and Carol, how cool they still do the break dancing in the street, great video very informative thank you for sharing your adventures, take care.
Was lucky enough to visit this past February would not mind visiting again. Hopefully soon!! Seems there is so much I missed out on.
I love your choice of music - feels very New Orleans but also has that modern beat or groove. Nice!
Thanks! yeah luckily I had a guy from soundcloud send me loads of songs a while back and when I looked through them I found these awesome jazz ones!
...My Girl and I went to NOLA almost exactly a year after this was filmed for some Halloween/ Vampire Events, but walked from our little Shotgun House rental to the French Quarter all day and night, and We hit many of the exact same spots. It was amazing to see them again!
Loved it there:D
New Orleans looks awesome!! I’ll have to try get there one day!
It sure is a great place the french quarter :D You definitely should check it out if your ever around this area
I love New Orleans as well especially the music and art scene
i watch this because of that 5 seasons of The Originals. so its the same the buildings, streets, restaurant... Its a nice, beautiful, and interesting city. now i know why The Mikaelsons don't want to move and let go from this city. so i keep wondering about the 3 factions (vampire, witch, warewolf) while watching this video... i have to come and visit to this city someday for sure. Thank you for the video...
Good guide. Thanks from New Orleans.
Thank you for sharing this video!! Thinking of celebrating my bachelorette party in the French Quarter in 2019! Your video has definitely won me over!!!!!!!
Awesome! Im sure your gonna love it.. It also gets very wild at night which i didnt show in this video haha
Jumping Places haha! Sounds like our type of party 😂

Love it there!
I’m watching because of the princess and the frog 👸 🐸
You have gained another subscriber, even though my love for The Originals originally bought me here. The way you filmed this made me feel like I was there. I had no idea New Orleans had such a rich culture and history! Thank you for this video. Love from New Zealand
Thanks! Yeah it seems a lot of people have watched by videos because of that series and I have never watched it haha. Hope I get to visit New Zealand one day!
I’m from New Orleans and I have to say I love my city!! The street performers that you watched in front of Jackson Square, if they are the same guys I’m thinking of, have been doing that show since I was a kid. My mom and I were watching one day and I was one of the people picked for the guy to do the flip over us at 5:27 I had to be less than 10 years old. Crazy to think they are still out there performing! Glad you had a good time.
Proud to say I visited the French Quarter and love there, the food are good don't mind paying for.
But unfortunately the parking are so freaking expensive.
I miss New Orleans!!! Haven't been there in 3 years!! Used to be there every other month. Going in June, I am looking forward to it. I know some great entertainers there and just all round good people.
Great capture of my favorite city!!!
Thanks! I love this place too, third time I have been :DDD
Just spent a week there for the first time loved it
Amazing! My Dreams is go to visit New Orleans!
I was there last month and visited every place where the originals was filmed. definitely my favorite city 👍👍
Great vlog dude, I’ll be heading to NOLA again soon!
Great! its an awesome place :D cheers!
My son and I are reading a book that’s set in New Orleans in 1915 when Louis Armstrong was 14. It describes Jackson square, bourbon st and all the famous spots that teenage “Dipper” worked and performed at. Now after watching your vlog, I wanna go. The history and culture are amazing! Thank you for your video!
Yeah bee there 2 times and its always been awesome in the french quarter!
What's the title of the book? :
This guy must have followed me around and filmed it all...for me..thanks
Buddy....u did good...
4:50 lol nice. haven't seen this stuff since decades 😄
Wow! I wish I could go to the French Quarter. You’re so lucky!
The Originals best series ever. I want to visit New Orleans now :D
So I am gonna rewatch the origenals now thnx to u
Thanks!
That's why New Orleans is a unique city in the US. It absorbs every each culture that passed through it walls: The Spanish Empire, The French Empire and last the USA federation. A very old city full of history, culture and magic.
I agree! definitely unique for sure, and amazing place
My good friend aiden flowers is on the originals he plays Young Klaus on The Originals
Pareil je m'interesse a cette ville depuis the originals , jamais avant j'aurai pensé vouloir aller la-bas :p
Who else is only watching this because of the originals lol 😂🤣😂
Hey there. Great video of The French Quarter and New Orleans. Next time you go, would love to see a vlog on just the food. Exceptional in New Orleans. What version of Black Coffee is that @ 6 minutes?
Algiers is the oldest neighborhood in NO. The French camped out at Algiers while building NO across the river. And not all original French architecture was destroyed by fire. There are numerous brick buildings in the Vieux Carre, Faubourg Marigny and Faubourg St Mary that have survived.
New Orleans is the best city in the world to live in.
If you can stand the summer!
Is it really? I kind of wanna move there
@@He11boylalo It really is.
@@WILLIAMCHANEL You live there now?
Lalo Mora yeah! Things are hard now because of Covid, of course. A lot is closed and we really aren’t the vibrant city we normally are. But I’m here and glad to be here. Are you seriously thinking of coming?
New Orleans is a great city to Visiting, a lot of fun ... 🥳🥳🥳🥳
1:00 ole girl been rockin it for years!!!!!
Cracking video, thanks! Looks amazing, I can’t wait to go!
Thanks!!! When are you going???
Jumping Places You’re welcome! No concrete plans as yet but I’m always making “trips” on Trip Advisor for the future... Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos, they’re really well edited and give a great sense of places! 👍
Sounds good, I have bean to NOLA 3 times now and it was amazing every time! You will have a blast. Really appreciate the comment, feedback like this really makes all the effort I put in worth it 😀😀😀😀😀
Jumping Places You make it look effortless but I have some past experience and training in video production and know that it is a real skill to make it look that way 👌
Thank again!! where are you from btw??
me right now :where's the witches??
Awesome video!! My wife and I will be in the exact location you shot this video! Great to see what’s in store for our trip!!
Hope you have an amazing time
Thank you so much!!
Another awesome Vlog! I've always wanted to go to New Orleans and I had NO IDEA the buildings were Spanish, although I never thought they looked French at all, well that's because they aren´t! Funny how that is never mentioned anywhere huh? Very cool piece of information! It seems like a very lively, wonderful pl.
Thanks dude, I have been there 3 times now and its been awesome every time! Nothing better than a lively city :DDD
TRAVELZILLA I.am many plaques designating Spanish names in the city. French and Spanish being Latin languages makes any translations simpler?
It’s a mix of Spanish and French influence. Creole culture
Travelzilla: Don't believe everything you hear. It's not like fires razed the whole French Quarter. Yes over the course of 300 years there have been fires but not to the extent he makes it seem. French architecture abounds in the Quarter.
Actually most of the original locals know the true history of the French Quarter aka "Da Quarta".... The French Quarter buildings are mostly of Spanish architecture because of the constant repossession of New Orleans between the Spaniard and French Governments of the period. For more info and details look it up on Google. 😎
Great vlog man!
Cheers!
I really love those buildings with the wrap-around balconies covered in plants. Can you get up on any of the balconies or are they private property?
Think they are all private, but there are bars and restaurants that have access to them
That was a great St. James Infirmary cover
Niklaus brought me here...I will visit this place one day!!
Happy almost two years of this video :) Still informing people!
Thanks! One of my most successful videos 😁👍
I loved it this place , i'm from Brazil and i wanna know New Orleans , i am in love for United states .... My favorite country !!!!!
The lady flipping her hair in the jazz bar 😂😂😂
I always forever journey to New Orleans.
IM PROUD TO SAY I HAVE BEEN THERE
hell yeah!
I'm here!!!!
That band at 0:52 were in that exact same spot when we filmed there. Legend has it they're still there now
What is the version of Black coffee used here? So awesome! Great video!
I stayed in the oldest building in the French quarters. Great experience!,,,,,
The french architecture is awesome
I've been there for many times ,very nice place.
I love it there! What’s your favorite thing there?
Going there is a dream of my life!
Do you guys wear daylight rings?! Lol
I love ❤️ the quarter Muy romantico
Hey, next time you go, find a local so they can show you around. You have only scratched the surface.
Yes I should do, I am sure there is much more to see than just the french quarter :D
Jumping Places there is another whole French quarter inside the French quarter. It’s like a maze.
They had all those buckets out there for money lol found that hilarious
lol
amazing place,I want go there
Definitely go!
Always wanted to go here, been everywhere in Northern America, but here and TX. No other states.
Yes the French Quarter in New Orleans is unique for sure compared to other places in the US
When you visit Texas, plan on staying a while. There are so many different types of places here. Small town B&Bs during festivals like the Dogwood Festival in Palestine. Kayaking the Blanco and hiking to Pedernales Falls. Padre Island beach. Camping under the stars in Hill Country. The Riverwalk in San Antonio. It's crazy how much Texas has.
You have the beautiful like the French Quarter and Bourbon Street so it's lots of wonderful culture of New Orleans
I agree :D
How do you agree
I agree that it is all beautiful
Especially for the New Orleans Saints fans
Thinking of visiting in 2019. I am a devout jazz drummer/dixieland washboarder. I was loving watching the street performers. If I but wanted to get in on all the action there, do you think they may let me? I want to live it, not just be a spectator!
Man if your a Jazz player i'm pretty sure your going to think the French Quarter is the best place on earth then lol. Im pretty sure you will find someone that will let you get in on the action.. There are people playing everywhere! I only showed a few of them but there were way way way more. Go!
⚜️ best city ever ⚜️
I loved it there :)
"The Originals" was filmed in Conyers, Georgia.
You kinda look like the guy off of scooby doo the movie . I love your videos . Thank u

Such a pretty and mysterious place.
Alot of homeless people on the streets with dogs. Always makes me sad to see So Many Homeless people. NOLA is Beautiful have been there twice & will go back again. 🌝🎶💜🌝🎶💜
Yes I agree. So many helpless people. Of course they will never show the negative side.
At 5:11 amazing!
Yeah crazy that they can do that at their age!
