But if you've got that support of you parents, to make lunches, dinners etc it gives us that time we can't get back to help push us forward with out the responsibility of trying to survive. I had this, I moved out at 30, I'd already opened 6 salons by then, I only started RUclips in lockdown which has brought a new mindset and growth. This is a great watch!!

It’s great to hear honesty & humility and the real stories behind Mike & James success. It’s also refreshing to hear them speak openly about their struggles (past and present). Both seem like good blokes, inspiring.

I live in Sydney and it's definitely not the utopian dream destination that James portrayed here. The reality is that it's simply not the same place it once was. It's become grossly unaffordable, many areas (not the ones James mentioned) are very run down, the white collar job market is a lot weaker than it was pre-covid, and the federal tax system here is paralysing for most "normal" people and families trying to get ahead. I think what Mike has done by moving to Dubai, as an online entrepreneur with no kids, will be setting him up perfectly from a financial perspective as tax is non existent there and he's only responsible for his own outgoings. Anyway, enjoyed the podcast. Thank you.

Something changed over the past 2.5 years that has me contemplating moving elsewhere. I'm glad James and people like him have found peace and contentment in Australia at this time.

Great chad lads. As an Ozzie I completely agree with all the above. My partner and I could earn double our salaries abroad but quality of life here is too good. Plenty of beach, drinks, weekends and great coffee. What more could you want. Government cares about you too. Plenty of people doing it tough here too but as a whole it’s the best country on earth
