@justme-tl1lw firstly thanks for the support and comments, secondly we tell it as it is always. Our Franklin 20.6ft van comes in at approx 2400kg, the triton has had work done, we have had it remapped as in engine tweaked, and the suspension we have upgraded to air bags and 400kg constant weight springs in the rear with heavy duty springs an shocks in front. With all that, we love our MQ and does exactly what we ask of it. I don't see any reason to have a Land Cruser or anything that size for towing what we have. Any other questions feel free to ask. Cheers folks
@Liteprinter good morning, as we had already upgraded or suspension on the triton and the van was also under certified, we had a engineer redo our compliance plates with a blue plate upgrade. In our case it was an easy fix. Our Pedders suspension upgrade, even tho it wasn't cheap but well worth it now. Cheers Bondy
@@ultimatelifestyleadventure8560 thanks Bondy. Pedders quoted $5900 for a certified GVM upgrade for my Triton. Is the ride much rougher when not towing?
Thanks for your comments, we didn't relize how bad the mics were, they were new ones, we no longer have that brand. Our van was 50 kilo over and the triton was 87 kilo,, so very good outcome.
Awesome!
Thanks guys ❤️
Sorry about the sound, we were trying some new 🎤 mics, they found a new home, in the bin. Lol
excellent RUclips. Great information regarding weighting car and van. Thanks again for all information you both share.
Hey Peter, unfortunately our mics didn't work to good, didn't relize till later. Ohh well. Thanks for the comments 🙂
Keen to watch, we were the guys camping beside you for new years
Cheers guys, hope you enjoy.
Hi too you both great content l would be interested in how much your caravan weight and how the mq goes when towing honest opinion would be great 😊
