I feel like the problem should be fixed by changing the life limit system. I've had so many times where the game would force respawn me and I would use a life. I've even found a guy who would ground pitch someone through a wall so they'd get force respawned and lose a life. He won the game that way.
You can get any ult move as your base in roulette without having to work for it, that’s why it’s so fun, because it’s unfair, sometimes you’re the guy with lapse blue max, crushing rush down, head splitter and great serpent, other times you’re the guy with reserve ball, supernova, manji kick and mahoraga. It’s just how it works
@@AdawaShiwani you have a good point about none of the moves being one shot, but you’re not thinking about hollow purple or idle transfiguration, there’s counter play to everything in the game. Hollow purple you just stand in front of them or go further away, idle transfiguration you get further away or try to interrupt them with a projectile. Same with head splitter, if you know someone has a death counter and they are baiting you to use it why are you gonna fall for it ? Play a little more passively don’t go in guns blazing it’s so easily counterable

@@5h4rkt00th if you can't use counter normally, you should try at least using it safely: either using it against SLOW attacks (open, idle transfiguration, shadow swarm etc.), or by COUNTERABLE AoEs on grab moves (widespread strikes after being landed on someone else, crushing rushdown, maybe rapid punches...).

This is my main point against people who think head splitter should be nerfed is this: JJS was never supposed to be a completely balanced game, it was game about laughing your asses of with your friends and having some shenanigans, it still is. A lot of people who enjoyed more competitive fighting games came to JJS and are always surprised when something broken comes out. Every character has something extremely broken about them sometimes maybe two broken things. Gojos hollow purple and domain are both broken, same with Sukuna domain and world slash, Hakaris ultimate literally lets him be immortal, just straight up immortal, Megumi can swap between his ult and base and use Mahoraga which is also busted, and Mahito has chain black flashes and head splitter. Do you kinda see my point now? Sorry for the yap sesh, I just had to say that somewhere, also I’m calling someone’s gonna say “I ain’t all that blud💀” anyways that my opinion, feel free to have yours.
The problem is: all of the moves of the other characters can be dodge or interrupted and none of them can insta kill, meanwile mahito got a move that can insta kill, can't be interrupted, and can counter most of the attack of the game. In strongest battlegrounds this works because the attack takes away your ult and when is activated has some time to be punched with some indication that is activated, meanwile head splitter dosn't take your ult and can be made instantly, so it completely random if the enemy is goin to use it becoming more about luck than skill. Its okey if you'r not a competitive player but this attack also takes way all the fun when you are casually playing (sorry for my english is not my main language)
I like competitive fighting games, the reason I like jjs over tsb is because in tsb they got these stupid "techs" that honestly looks really bad and ruin the immersion of the battle also jjs has sounds for blocking m1s which are so juicy
People complaining about head splitter have MASSIVE having fun issue, yes head can be annoying but so is hollow purple and WCS and even though they don’t oneshot most of time your hit with those your dead anyway

Head splitter is fine, it works as mahitos domain type move for his second awakening, when you go for mahitos super awakening you rarely use his domain first. Head splitter is a worse version of his domain anyways, you can only at most get two kills with head splitter, with DE you can kill as many as you trap in
Head splittwr should take half their current hp rounded up Example 1: Opp has 50 hp, head splitter does 25 dmg Example 2: Opp has 11 hp, head splitter does 6 damager (half of eleven is 5.5, rpunded up is 6)

Mahitos domain allows you to kill as many people as you want, head splitter doesn’t, you get a maximum of two kills and that’s if you use the counter as soon as you get his second awakening

It's an awakening. Literally almost(hakari domain can't but moveset can) all awakenings have a way to 1 shot you cuz of the sheer damage.
