My mother lived at Sun Lakes AZ and loved it. She lived in the Oakwood section. I stayed with her so she could stay in her home, and I worked in Tempe at Express Scripts and the commute was easy. I left AZ in 2013 after she died. Chandler was close and had Keegan's which was close.
How is Sundance in Buckeye? Renting a newer home there. Sleepy town is fine with us, we ate homebodies. I do work part-time rideshare. As long as there is the big pool and a hot tub, I will be happy.
Hey David! Yeah it's a bit sleepy. Not too much to do near there IMO. There's a strip of stores with national chain restaurants close by like McDonald's, Denny's, burger King and some empty lots. To the south is a lot of farming and industrial.
Nice for the price, but about 20 minutes to grocery shopping :( Here's a video or two. ruclips.net/video/MA9drXV6fOQ/видео.html | ruclips.net/video/l2NS32n_1CU/видео.html Let me know if you have any specific questions. I love the clubhouse there and the feel of it as well. Very Cool place. Just out there.
I would never want to live on the west side - everything fun is in Scottsdale & Tempe. Have had a couple of friends who made the mistake living on the wrong side of Phoenix - they got so sick of driving and hour to get to the happenings on the east side.
Do you have a list of top 5 most economical 55 plus communities. Or top 5 that are best for the disabled. Florida has these but it’s so far away and the humidity. I lived in New Mexico for 15 years so I am familiar with dry desert heat. Thank you!
Thank you for your video. What are the typical pet restrictions at these communities? And can you rent your home out for a 9-10 month period while you’re not using it for yourself? Thank you!
My pleasure! No pet restrictions. As far as renting it just depends. Some have 30 day minimums while others have 90day minimums. You should have no issues rent out for 9-10 months of the year.
Hey ryan, thanks for being there for my dad and helping us out with that said recently sold home in encanterra! Now you know who i am lol once they finish that connection of the 24 to Ironwood will make that place a lot more accessible. looking forward to future events that place has to offer. Your list was pretty good. Encanterra pretty much borders Queen Creek boundaries in reality, couple feet off maybe ha ha. LOL splittin Atoms here. Thanks again
Yooo! My pleasure! Of all the communities I think I'd live there bc it's east valley and more accessible to "stuff." You actually never really have to leave though... do you?? lol. Talk soon!
$350k and up for new builds. After you're in with upgrades, probably around $400k and up - There are some links for resale in the description as well, but not a lot out there. Sorry about that!
Encore is in east Mesa, ovation in Queen creek, Encanterra is in San tan valley (west border of queen creek), Victory at Verrado is in Buckeye (far west valley), Vistancia is in Peoria (very northwest Peoria). Lmk if u have any other qs.
The #5 and #4 (Taylor Morrison) are the exact reason not to be in those communities...they don't provide the convenience that is the main purpose of an adult community.....

Encanterra is within Queen Creek city limits.

Sun lakes is beautiful. I love most of the 55 plus communities it's nice seeing people active in their golden years. Thanks for watching!
Must just be a phoenix area realtor. Good choices but want something a bit cooler so we went with Saddlebrooke Arizona
Yeeeep! That's awesome. Best of luck there!
a listing of all the 55 plus monthly HOA fees to compare would be greatly welcomed!
What u think about wickenburg ranch?
Super nice! Just a bit far out. But that's ok for most!
Pricing would help a lot
Hey Terry. Prices have gone up considerably since this video and then dropped. I can shoot an email to u if you're interested. Lmk.

Another great video! What are the monthly HOA dues at Victory at Verrado?
Hey Richard! Encanterra is $379/mo.. and Victory is $223 - $306/mo depending on if you're in the gated section.
Great information! Is there anything available in Victory at Verrado?

Don’t do Queen Creek either. One way in & one way out - you will be sorry.

what is the cost of the housing?
In these communities anywhere from 300,000 up to 800,000.

Thanks for watching Mak Daddy! I definitely hear ya on that
Amazed how no one will take pets. Sure if they were begging for people I'd have no issue
You're probably right. Sorry to hear about the troubles.
