Woozi never been happier, getting to freely write in his nerd references. Also the line in fml where someones like "I wanted to be like the animation main character" or smth like that, he literally has said that there was a period of his childhood where he dreamt of becoming a Anime main character
In the end woozi become the monkey king his expression is so aggressive and the way he move his head, is so good
And this album broke so many records, so proud of them

i totally agree with what you said about minghao, he really just moves so gracefully and it fits soo well with this traditional clothing. obviously, they all look great in it but he just takes it to a new level. i am so happy to hear svt do new things with their voices and change up their line distribution/structure of songs because they already know what works for them but they still try to improve and show more sides of them ughhhh i love that so much. like jeonghan getting a rap part? the main vocalists not just doing the crazy difficult vocal lines but having solo dance moments?? i can't wait to hear what you both have to say about the rest of the album!
also i'm a joshua lower tone luvr 4ever and ever i'm so glad they are utilizing it more. him and jun's voices have seriously gotten so good

So I actually think it is more about Dragon Ball Son Goku because of a couple things:
1. The pose that they do whenever they say the name is Goku's 'Instant transmission' (the one that you did on the thumbnail too 😂)
2. Dino does the 'Kamehameha' which at first reminded me of Jisoo's Flower and I already saw Blinks raging 😂😂
3. Josh says in his lyrics sth like "go up to the sky with a power pole" and that's exactly what Goku did
4. Woozi sings sth like "gather all the energy in one big blast" or so, and that's literally 'Kamehameha'
5. Woozi also sings sth like "send all our cry to the sky for a big blast" and that seems like a 'Genki Dama'
6. And this one is same as the Sonogong, he flies on a goldish/yellow 'Kintoun' a lot
Also Goku's hair changes color as he powers up, and some of the transformations are called Super Saiyan - so I believe that's why the song is called 'Super' 😁

I think they took care for the lyrical references to be vague enough that they can apply to both DBZ and Journey to the West because if they'd been too overt with the DBZ references they might have gotten into copyright trouble, so they kept the purely DBZ things contained to the choreo.
Technically Son Goku and Dragon Ball are inspired by Sun Wokong and the story of Journey to the West, so I would say both. Woozi definitely loves his anime references. Son Goku often represents power, and Sun Wokong actually has an honourable title related to him being a winner, but I am not sure what is the English translation is. I think the Sun Wokong reference relates to the theme of being a winner in this album.

I loved everything about this. The lyrics definitely made me extremely emotional but the scale of the performance was mind-blowing. I loved the references they've added. Darumdarimda is also one of my favorite parts along with the post-chorus ("I love my team, I love my crew").
I was also wondering if Hao pronounced it more along the lines of the chinese pronunciation cause it felt that way. I loved how they explored their different tones and aspects to their voice, it's always so fun to hear see how they grow.
