That's one heck of a horseshoe, of course it's for a Clydesdale. Never seen a bellows quite that large. This was a great video. Amazing metalworker. I spent my life in metalworking so this to me is an incredible video. Thanks Koolaid. He was a trip without the luggage. My G-father was a blacksmith born in the 1800's got kicked in the head by a horse he was shoeing and ended up with a metal plate in his head. Heck, I don't know what year this happened but they must have been putting metal plates in the head in the early 1900's. My G-father only said about 12 words to me, mostly I remember, "Get your hat & coat & go home". Of course I was already home. A man of few words.

Nice shop and a very nice HUGE anvil. That anvil is way larger than my 300 pound shop anvil and worth a fortune.

May i live long enough to become a crusty blacksmith. I am seventy now and haven’t noticed a crust forming as of yet. In my smithy daily, so maybe crust tomorrow.

3:05 he doesn't realize it but he's creating a thermal updraft by burning dry wood on top. Upward suction results basically

I would never allow people to come into my work space and film or otherwise. Not unless they paid me. Then they can call the video what ever. But only after I have their money. Anyone that’s in my work space also wouldn’t be allowed to blow a bunch of vape clouds that smell like sugary cereal. Then it would be get the hell out. No refunds. They want the game. They gonna pay 💰 me for it.

This was Ireland, I believe it was either Killarney or Blarney castle. It was 2 years ago though and many stops on the trip, so I'm not 100% sure about the exact location anymore.

The smith has a Northern accent. Ulster American Folkpark in Omagh I would say.
