These people are not supposed to ever exist, first of all they don't have money to feed themselves and they make their children to get extra mouths to feed, this is ridiculus, they should not catch and torture these poor creatures just because they r poor, why dont he do something else to earn money, this is a shame on humanity....

Isn't it remarkably clear that our perception of money and animals are fucked up when a dollar speaks louder than the worth of an individual? I'm an animal rights activist, and it never ceases to amaze me how cruel man can be.

Hey buddy chum pal Carlos, you do know you could do something else. Like making clothes, shoes, anything BUT wildlife trafficking, is the main point I'm tryna get across here.

As a Brazilian, I kinda sympathize with the guy Iean he's trying make a living, an that's probably not his main source of income so I think the real bad guys are the rich ones who pay 50.000 for a baby jaguar in asia/europe/America

I think it's repulsive how the only native honey bee of North America is banned in the states but it's perfectly fine to ship non native invasive European honey bee species from Europe with no problem

dylan scronce you know here in the us we did have two parrot species. The Carolina Parakeet lived in, well Carolina, and Louisiana, and the Military Macaw's range spread from South America all the way to the lower tip of Texas. Unfortunately, humanity grew up too late to save the Carolina Parakeet, and the last one died in the same cage as the last passenger pigeon. And the Military Macaw exists still, but it is ranked as vulnerable.

  • @louisedanile5881

Everyone here is roasting the man without even realising that it is a problem that starts with the European and American eager to have an exotic animal. There wouldn't be people like him if there weren't people like us to buy these birds. I am not saying his actions are correct. Just saying that most of these birds, when forwarded to their destinations, will turn into breeding pair, and the babies will be sold as captive-bred. One thing leads to another. If there is market for the chicks theses birds will generate, then there will be always someone in the jungle, looking for ways to get these creatures. First World people don't really care about the well-being of the wild populations, they just want a pretty creature to call their own.

I’m sorry, but this offends me. I two budgies I share a bond with, I did not get them because they are pretty to look at, I got them because birds are the only animals that I can have a true bond with. Birds are so much more than trophies to a lot of people. I would do anything to make sure the birds are happy and healthy, AND I do not own any animal, they own themselves. I love wildlife too, I want to make sure that nobody traffics any animal or any animal becomes extinct because of humans.

Only if these guys would learn to collect only a few as breeding stock then they pull together and create a proper breeding farm as a sustainable income. They would then be able to produce healthier happier animals that are at peace with captivity and command a higher price. Believing that one can poach and take from the wild forever as if it was an infinite resource are not in touch with reality. Here is North American people thought that about the Caroline Parakeet of which the where Millions of them, Same can be said for the Passenger Pigeon, the American Buffalo, American Woods Bison, Ivory Billed Woodpecker, Southeastern Elk sub species, eastern cougar and the Red Wolf just to name a few.

So a lot of people here blame the traffickers. How about blame the Gringos. Those westerners and European. They are also the root cause of this horrific animal cruelty and exotic animal trafficking. I am from Canada so I blame us too. If we didn’t lust for these exotic animals than the black market wouldn’t exist. I am just saying, before we blame these people, we should look at ourselves.
