What a beautiful island and villages. You can definitely see this is closer to The Netherlands and Germany, based on the architecture with the brown brick walls and straw roofs. The Wadden Islands of The Netherlands are just north of where I live, Ameland is closest. The landscape looks almost the same there as on Fanø, which is also part of the Wadden Islands.

Might I recommend nearby Viborg then, too? Grew up there, until I moved to the States, then moved back to go high school. (If you’d like a wee taste of it, I have a video about it… Troll forest etc) Fanø in September will have the advantage of fewer tourists …

Yes I'm Scottish unfortunately I believe in May we are not going to Fanø maybe in September instead we will be heading around Skive area
