Rose is much to big it's massive and it's not suitable for a buttonhole mid sized rose or bud rose
and you need strong foliage like ivy or ruscus to highlight the arrangement
Not to be too critical as everyone has their own style but it's a bit clumpy and oversized if you are going to add wheat you need to group it together tightly
The stems need to be covered with twine or stem tape

Thank you! I usually make the buttonholes bespoke to the customer. There are so many different styles of buttonholes you can do, this is just an example. I can make other tutorials using other techniques like wiring and taping , twining, full ribbon, different flowers and foliage like calla lily, spray roses, carnations etc. I can show examples of different sized lengths as well. if that would be helpful, I can do like a compilation of different styles.
