Nowadays young singers are not aware what means to be a Mezzosoprano , maybe because the are too young and never heard what is a MEZZO VOICE and also learn singing with Teachers not able to understand the difference between Soprano and Mezzosoprano .... oh my God, what a pity !!

Stephano's aria is also performed by sopranos. And imo i think she's actually a mezzosoprano. A light one, but a mezzo.
