Mortal Kombat Jakks Pacific Plug & Play

One of the best Plug and Play games manufactured that holds up extremely well a decade later. While the difficulty is toned down, it's a fairly faithful version... blood, fatalities, and Reptile included. The MK controller is respectfully responsive, a failing on many other Plug and Play products. Also, if you have a friend with one you can link up and go head to head.

This is the first mortal kombat I ever play on plug n play as a kid , remember playing all the way being scared the shit outta goro when the music and roar start shaking lol good times

Me too. It's an unique Port and imO much better than all the other Ports (even the PC-Version has Troubles with the Hitboxes). Let's turn it on!

Remember someone once suggested wondering if the graphics/look of this could be something resembling the PC Engine/TurboGrafx 16? Its an interesting thought given how far they got with some of the games on that like Street Fighter II. Too bad such a game like Mortal Kombat didn't show up either side of the Pacific.

@@RetroGamingNook Thank you very much for your reply, it looks good, it has that old but nice crt monitor kind of smoothing effect even without the assistance of scan lines, very cool. Thanks for taking to time to upload this as well, it's the first time I ever saw this version.
