I used Dalle3 for a design an had to rebuild it entirely. AI is still messy

What of you like one of the patterns generated and you want to change the colors to that without generating a new pattern?

You can edit a pattern by double clicking on the fill swatch in the Swatches panel. This opens pattern editing mode where you can change its color.
