  • How do you take an Adventure on Route 66 one step further? You head down from the road to the depths of the Grand Canyon Caverns! From the legendary and familiar Hackberry to the lesser explored Valentine and Peach Springs, we head down into the Grand Canyon Caverns, an original Roadside attraction that's been perched alongside Route 66 since the 1920s. Afterwards, we check in on Seligman Arizona, home of Angel Delgadillo - an inspiration behind the Pixar movie CARS, and then head east on the road less traveled to finish off our Adventure

You do a great service to all these people on 66 that are trying to keep the history alive. Another good job Justin.

That bobblehead dog, the Chihuahua, is the most realistic bobblehead I've ever seen. In his later years Reagan bobbed more...but Chihuahuas are eternally freaked out!

I was a tour guide at the Caverns from 2000 to 2002, before all the new stuff that you see now. Really cool job, loved it! All that was open then was the caverns, the gift shop, and a very iffy cafe/snack bar. The owners were just starting on the renovations; I actually strung a lot of that rope lighting that you see! I'm impressed with most of improvements. LOL, did a LOT of laundry in that "cute" laudromat...good thing the Black Cat is just across the street!

I said no at the same time you did. Not only would I not turn off the lights I'd have a bag of flashlights and lanterns just in case. :)
