Yessss I need this🤧❤️ I'm so pressured by being so inconsistent with my art style nowadays 😭 being inconsistent really hinders my improvement..
it’s ok to have an inconsistent style , it’s a normal part of art and by experimenting you will eventually find a style that resonates with you

I never thought I'd listen so intently to a text to speech robot.
This video taught me that the best art is made with patience and time. When making art without either of the two, it becomes evident in your artwork that you rushed it and you were mostly focused on the ending product instead of the process that takes you there. Like how Iku says not to immediately settle on your first sketch, if you do that you won't know what other better ideas you are capable of making. Give yourself time whether it be hours or days if you need it. I've tried this technique and although I am not a pro, I can definitely say that I've achieved better drawings by following these 7 steps.

I wish you had left your endproduct in longer ): I had to pause to somewhat see the result because it kept moving around so I never got a good look at the finished thing. + I at first didn't even know you made two versions at the end because it was so fast,I only realized when I kept stopping the vidoe and trying to find a frame where I can see the full picture without it being moving around somewhere .___.
But congratulations on improving so much with the tutorial!
When I started out I had story ideas and wanted to become a writer but then I met my friends who..really weren't into reading but liked my stories. We were really young back then and then Winx Club came out and it was the first anime inspired thing I had seen in all my life and I wanted in. So I went to Animation Art School to bring my stories and especially the characters to life and moving. However,we didn't learn anything about drawing,they just gave assignments in class and we were just stressed out from all the extra classes and things to finish so I stopped after 3 years (5 would've been total and I would've gotten a title for it.but I broke under the constant pressure,lack of freedom in the projects and literally NO FREE TIME).
So I completely went away from anything that had to do with becoming an artist since another problem was my perfectionism (if something wasn't finished in my eyes,not good enough,I just didn't give it to the teachers which gave me a grade about as bad as if I had never started,though I often sat days on my work) They told me if I can't get over that, then I can't have a job like that so I quit.
I found all these online artists that were amazing in what they were doing and that had THEIR OWN TIME to focus on stuff, no one telling them a scedule and their works were so much more unique and creative. So now this is more of a hobby but I am finally having fun again while drawing. I started playing LeagueOfLegends and their splasharts are what got me into the whole greyscale then colour style.I was always curious how they were made and thankfully two of their splashart artists shared their progress on youtube where I then found out. I hope we can all grow together and become the next generation of artists helping each other and our future little ones out. I think everyone should be able to bring what's in their mind to life and be able to share their imagination to others!
I don't know if I was the only one but when I see your art now I just feel so proud of your evolve in draw and coloring .. keep going sweetheart 💌❞

I’ve been drawing since I was just a toddler, I started taking art seriously when I was around 8-9, I’m 13 now and I’ve improved slightly but I honestly there’s no direction with my art. To me it still seemed all over the place. So I started to follow artists,watch tutorials, copy, and try to learn from them. I’m still trying to do this bc I started only a few days ago. I feel like I’ve found a chest full of gold tbh. You don’t need to practise everyday, but you should learn to practise correctly :)

5:30 and that's why I use gacha club as my reference but I didn't just like follow the face shape or something I just reference the body move and ofc I made the custom body move because the idea sometime hard to express...using your imagination and just draw it maybe some artist can but not me.... it's just very hard without some reference...😿
