VAC picks up application signatures and bans on basis of that; they've a database of known cheats and if you're running those cheats against the game while on a VAC secured server, you get VAC banned. Edited configs do jackshit to get you VAC banned and anyone saying that is bullshitting out of their mouths and shouldn't be trusted. 2. 2400 days ago is 7 ish years ago, so 2009ish, which coincides with MW2. MW2 had a ton of bad VAC bans, and I'm pretty confident that the VAC on anomaly's account is dated from back then.

The hack IS the script and WILL make you Bhop better. You're thinking of macro's. Both can potentially get you banned as a macro just looks like a script to someone in overwatch who doesn't know better.
