this is a thing of Great Beauty , thanks for sharing !! seeing these Powerful Diesel Locomotives pulling this Wonderful rolling stock gives me goosebumps !
Great video - took me back to the 1970s and 80s. You certainly chose the best locations. I managed to capture Tangmere this afternoon with 57313 on the rear
there is only one thing missing from the shot of the class 37 pulling away, and sadly we cannot have and that is the smell of the diesel fumes - shame we cant have "smell-o-vision" - but with todays technology, maybe *JUST* maybe one day............
Thanks Mike - Brett was an Avanti staff member who recently passed away due to cancer so it’s a tribute. The Pullman HST is next due in service on 10/09/22.
Nice video of an outdated loco displaying one of the reasons they were scrapped. I really don't understand this fascination with "clag". Would you want your car to produce oil smoke like that?
An engine that traces its origin back to the 1940s, long before anyone had thought of Euro this, that or the other. Remember when they were built, steam locomotives were still dominant.
Most beautiful sight - the sound of the Class 37 on full growl reminds me of my stomach pre dinner.

Great video absolutely love those two strokes. Gretas favourite train!!
The sound. Just wonderful
Great departure of the 37s, I miss that jointed track sound!!
Great catch 👍🏻
A great couple of captures their and especially with that big cloud of clag thanks for sharing
Thanks Barry 👍
That was Brilliant mate 👏 👌 👍
Thanks very much 👍

Thanks - Hopefully you enjoyed catching Tangmere 👌👍
2:28 That old Syphon at the start aint even breaking sweat pulling 5 coaches and a 'spare'👏👏👏👏
Great smoking classic, greetings 🇳🇱
Great departure from the driver of the 37 and a good catch for you and your channel. I was booked to travel behind that 57.
Thanks - Shame those newly painted 57/0’s didn’t run from Carnforth-Burton on Friday night to work with 57313.
Great video. Thank you for posting. 👍
Lovely bit of Clag from the 47s too. 👍😎😎
Excellent filming that's how 37s should be driven 😀
Thanks Ian 👍
Great capture. My 1955 Wolseley produces nearly as much clag as those 37s.
They are the king is the railway engine!
Nice
Fantastic! loved it.
Very nice indeed
Great video can't beat a bit of tractor clag and noise love any idea why 37555
Me who loves how the crowds just immediately dissipate when the 57s arrive 😂
Shows not a lot of people like them, I'd prefer them as 47s
Fabulous vid, was that the blue Pullman we caught a glimpse of.
Yes - The MP rake of coaches and spare power cars were all on depot today.
Would have been a better spectacle with both 37s on the head end. Were they top and tailing for operational reasons?
Hi Roy, Yes - the route plan required TnT format.
Is that nodrog making the station announcement?

37516 appears to have been renumbered 37555? 🤷♂️
Well done; 3 in one day. Did the HST move? Who's Brett

Great video 👍
The 37s would look far better in Railfreight grey
Thanks - I’d take any colour scheme other than the West Coast Maroon!
As Greta would say :"how dare you!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Which 37s
Press the v on the right of the heading caption for disclosure.
Good video I hate this boring west coast livery it's horrible if the vents was painted black it may look OK but all one colour it spoils the loco's 😎
Cheers Justin - Agreed ref the West Coast livery, it’s got to be the most boring look that’s currently active on the mainlines.

Hi Steve, clag provides a reminder of times gone by for me - Modern day diesel/electrics don’t have the same general appeal or interest.
@@trainsplanes yes, but a 37 in good condition never produced that much smoke!
Im sure theres a bit of driver indulgence involved as well
One of the reasons they were scrapped 🤣
