You guys are nailing the batreps, quick, fun, and well shot.
Honestly the best batrep I've seen on RUclips. The graphics are great, reminds me of old white dwarf batreps. You focus more on strategy than dramatic dice rolls
I was honestly so excited to see a new Kill Team batrep from this channel.

I just started learning this game and out of all the battle reports I have seen this is the best so far, love the summaries and how they help to keep track of how the moves were made thanks a lot!

A great matchup guys, two cool teams I haven't seen much of at all! The models from your challenge came out great too. Also disgustingly resilient seems to be the most consistent 5+ rule I have ever seen, it's a soul crusher!!

These are the best battle reports I've seen for new kill team. Easily. The background music is very gloomy tho which kind of brings down the video just my two cents. Please keep making these!
I liked it - it matched the theme
Music is a good choice imo. Gives it a cool and distinct feel.
It is the grim dark future where there is nothing but war, after all. So upbeat music a la Taylor swift would be ill fit.

Once the channel has some more teams laying around it would be cool to see a sort of narrative campaign with some characters fighting their way through some missions and advancing in rank.

Your channel has the best Kill Team battle reports I've seen since PlayOn did KT2018 reports. Really loving the content. I INSIST you keep it up. And if you open up a patreon or something similar you better believe I'll be among the first in line to pitch it. I've learned more about how the game is played watching these than from any other video. The concise explanations and end-of-turn recaps are especially helpful. Loving the production, too--if my PlayOn comparison didn't imply that already. Keep it up!

This was great and as much as Nurgle demons aren’t good, I think they’re the best demons for kill team with disgustingly resilient.

I've played several KT games but never had the rule of whether you can claim an objective while in engagement. So I learned something today.
I really enjoy these! I know it's probably a lot of work, but the way everything is presented is great for learning the flow of a game.
Let's be honest here, the only reason it was a tie was due to the lack of Vic channeling his WAAAAAAAGH! energy.
Not really sure how he thought he'd win without embracing the orks.

Plaguebearere with Death's Heads are dope. I run a proxy team of mk iii marines done up as Daemon Possessed Chaos Legions with Plaguebearers as Deathguard, Pink Horrors as Rubrics and Bloodletters as World Eaters. The Deaths Heads are represented by bolt pistols because they pack the same amount of punch. They also increase the Plaguebearers threat range substantially.
Omg yes the heads are so good. I get that they are baked into the balance of the army but they feel so good for equipment. And cheap!

I would suggest showing the progress of fights (how players choose to hit and parry), it's a big part of the game, and without it, it's hard to guess what actually happens in these fights. It's not like shooting where just showing rolled dice is enough.
Great game otherwise. There's something great about seeing two hordes maul each other in melee.
Thanks for the feedback Anton. We opted not to go into the finer details of each fight in an effort to try and keep the video a little more succinct. With so many fighting operatives we thought it might get a little repetitive and start to drag on. We did make note of some important choices when they came up though, like key parries or blocked crits.

@@MountainsideTabletop I think that it's too important to skip. *Especially* in a mostly-melee game, where it's the main focus, here it feels like a significant part of the gameplay is just cut out. Some more simple combats may be skipped, but not all of them.

Thanks! That's correct. The Ork terrain is all made from scraps of cardboard and popsicle sticks.

Could you have started the rokkit launcha on the bottom edge running it forward to get a turn 1 shot into the entire group of plaguebearers around the rock? That could have been a pretty massive shot if you could!
Potentially! I really didn’t count on my ability to kill them because of their resilience…so I erred on the side of controlling the centre. But yeah, that could have been a big opening shot!

You don’t have to fight. You can choose to pass with your remaining AP. I heard someone describe it as two opponents circling each other before fighting.
