Do you realize what this guy is doing? Why don't you have your daughter ask him to sing it acapella for her. He is totally running the vocal track with his voice. Real singers don't sing at the volume he does. He's barely even singing. Then not to mention that he's adding a ton of Reverb. Why don't you just go to the original person who sings this webpage and ask him to sing it for your daughter instead of this hack. Cuz that's what exactly this guy is a hack. When real vocalist don't sing at that volume. He's slightly singing so you still hear the original vocals mixed in with his voice. Anybody can do what he's doing and sound good. When I hear him belting out these songs acapella then I will apologize to the guy and give him props. I've even told the guy in messages that I'll hook him up with connections to make money off his voice if he would give me demonstrations of him singing these songs acapella. But he don't because more than likely he's a hack. I've spinning reel Studios I've put down real vocal tracks in studios. Anybody who knows anything about music should know exactly what he's doing especially what do you know about tracks and you have a mixer to turn down certain tracks which exactly what he's doing. He's just turning down the original Vocal Track and fading his light vocals into the mix. Have him sing acapella at full volume and listen to his voice. But he will not do that. And if he does and sounds as good or even half as good like I said then I'll give him props. I'm not talking about him just lightly singing it I'm talking singing it like anybody that's a real vocalist would sing it. this guy don't even sing from his diet Fram and I bet he doesn't even know what I'm talking about when I say that.

@Sarah Malone He uses some effects like compressor, delay, chorus, and reverb, but he doesn't use Auto-Tune at all. Any musician will be able to tell you the same thing.
My cousin was working as an intern in the studio when Toto recorded this and I was a teenage drummer who stopped by to catch a glimpse of Jeff Porcaro on the drums and heard this, and let me tell you, you sound great on this piece. You have a real gift!

When I sing in the shower I like to kid myself that it sounds good, but in reality I'm one of the most tone deaf people on the planet. I can make the easiest song sound tortured. I'm patiently waiting for the day when a decent computer and clever software can take my out of tune croakings and make me sound like the greatest frontman ever. Current software is impressive, but we need AI like in the movies before (I) can make it as a good singer!
