I remember when the bridge collapsed. A horrible tragedy. My dad used to fish under that bridge and I thank God that he wasn't there that day. Praying for all of the family and friends of the victims.
Hi Tim and Barbara, I remember that happening. My friend was living with me and she had family members who lived in Webers Falls. It took a while to find out if they were okay. Lots of panic. I remember thinking about how awful it would have been for the victims. I didn’t know any of the 14 victims, but I prayed so hard for them. I didn’t know where they were buried. It’s good that they are remembered. Thank you and God bless you, Brenda P❤
I don't remember this incident. It gives me chills to think about how awful that would have been. I don't like bridges and really do dread crossing them. So many folks just going about their day and suddenly disaster strikes.😢
Things like this is so tragic. You get up go about your day and never go home.😢😢 it is something that makes like never normal for friends and families left behind...
Barbara & Tim; David & Jean Mueggenborg (Muggenborg is how it is pronounced) were friends of mine, they were from Okarche, Ok. Still think of them often.
Wow, couples just wiped out while they were driving along. And the couple and their child on the way to the zoo. That's the one that really got to me. You know that little girl was so excited to be going to the zoo.
I believe that when families or groups of people transition from this world to the next in the same event, a soul pact formed long ago is being fulfilled. The bonds we form with one another in our lifetimes and promises to reunite again and again never die. We don't have the capacity to fully understand why things happen the way they do, and they often seem unfair. We can only trust that there is a higher power behind it all. May the loved ones of those left behind find solace and peace. Love is eternal.
