  • There are a few things that may catch some people out when it comes to trim in Ethos. In this video I explain how to refine trims so they are more effective for larger planes. I also cover how to use trims to get your plane flying level without the need of holding onto the sticks.

    Hi Steve,
how do you add Trim 5 to a free mix in Ethos 1.5+? I do not see an option for the trim as a whole in when you add an offset? Could you please update this video with that? I am trying to get my steering servo to work and it doesn't seem logical at the moment.

Near the end on recentering trims if they are off center by a significant amount. At the upper right of the screen the pulse width is listed. Note this value. Reset the the trim to its middle position. Then adjust the zero setting to the noted pulse width on the screen. No guess work or trim flight needed.

I take it there's no way to transfer your trim settings to the subtrim with one click of a button like you can in OpenTx? If not, this should be added into the next FW update.

Simple stuff that can be crisply explained in 2 mins, dragged on for more than 8 mins.
