- Got the new Hoyt Carbon RX-3!! We enjoy the help from Wayne Endicott owner of "The Bow Rack" archery shop in Springfield, OR! Wayne sets up the bow and gives his pro-tips and lessons on form, stance and general knowledge! Attachments on the bow are: Option Archery 6s Sight and Quivalizer, Vapor Trail rest.

@@Addicted2antlers any thoughts on the RX5? I held one last Saturday it looks amazing. I thought the RX4 was premature. The RX3 was more exciting in my opinion. But I’ve already got my heart set on the VXR. hopefully picking it up this weekend

Wayne and everyone at the Bow Rack is absolutely top notch! I live in MS and after experiencing their expertise, they’re the only people I trust to tune my bows or arrows. I struggled for years around here to find a shop that would do anything more than just slap the rest and sight on, eyeball it, and say that I was good to go. No paper tuning, no levels, NOTHING! Then I found out about the Bow Rack and my accuracy has increased tenfold! They are incredible and having to pay to ship my bow there or pay to get something new shipped to me is absolutely 100% worth it!

Buying a bow at the The Bow Rack is worth it just for the shooting seminar you get from Wayne. I struggled to get consistent accuracy with my recurve until Wayne gave me a similar block of instruction. Then Bam! I was nailing it.

New bow!!! Sweet and great choice! Not sure about the bow shop but it looks like you have a great shop there. Real knowledgeable staff helping you. Thumbs up 👍🏻! Easton axis 5mms too! Great choice! You’ll love that bow and arrow setup. I just switched to Easton 5mm pros (.001) this late winter and love them. You’ll be fletching your own arrows soon enough. Enjoy!

I wish we had a shop of that quality here in Nebraska. Shops around here in my experience will do a bare bones set up and send you out the door.
Ashton Rountree yeah it’s a rarity. I’ve had that same bare bones experience in the past, but not here. They went out of the way to make sure it was tuned and perfect before leaving.

Same here in Ohio, I send mine to a shop to get tuned and setup. May not be 100% perfect as it isnt me shooting but its better than any shop around me

Very impressed with shop owner. Only wish you had replaced the factory strings with some better custom strings before going through all that tuning and sighting in.
Steve the Dude yeah when I wear this one out it’ll be replaced with a custom string. Just didn’t want another charge on top of the final cost 😂

Your grip pressure also effects third axis so tuning it the way he did is ok until you hold the bow and put your pressure on it
seems like a good shop and great choices. I am in need of a new bow too. However, I just can't with the price point of that hoyt. But I do like that bow.

bryce verberne think it’s a 3/16, but not entirely sure. Just ordered an oval 1/4” from Option specifically for this sight.

Thank you!! It’s good, I’m used to the adjustment knob on the side and not the bottom like the Option has, but getting used to it now. Bright fiber, solid craftsmanship.

I wish I had a place like this. I mean I got a Mathews dealer but they’re pretty opinionated in some areas. I kinda don’t like being told something I’m doing don’t work... when I been doing it and it’s workin better than ever. Yeah they don’t like the ranch fairy down there lol and you can tell they didn’t actually watch the guys videos and pay attention. That’s annoying. It’s like dealing with Democraps. CC Rider good one... Also, I use a Carter release, no noise. That was the shops demo one for video purposes.
