Now there's a clever use of laser cut leather! Just want to point out that you've made the engraving letters required for this in your merch shop page, so even if someone doesn't want/need the engraving they still have to fill out that field. If there's a way to disable that field when someone picks "No thank you", I think that would do the trick.
The hole on the tuck-in-tab could be reinforced with a rivet? The other intuitive way to do this would be a pair of snaps a bit wider out from the tab (and maybe delete the tab). Likewise for the end flaps, but those could be on the internal surface (so the end flaps get tucked in and snapped onto the interior of the roll); tuck the end flaps then compress to snap. Though snaps add a bit of assembly work and/or cost... could be done as an add-on sku in the order form for the customer to give the optional snaps/die a whack with a hammer.
To avoid the overhand knot at the end of your hank, tie the finishing half hitch in the opposite direction of your turning wraps. If you're wrapping from left to right tie the half hitch so the bitter end is to the left. If you were wrapping from right to left tie the half hitch so the bitter end is to the right. Make the finishing half hitch in the opposite direction you were wrapping.
You can avoid that final overhand knot in your cordage by doing this. BLUF: start your constricting wrap on the same end as your starting bitter end and wrap away from it. 1. When you start, label the end with the bitter end as 'A' (the side with your pinky is 'B'). 2. Wrap in your figure eight as normal. 3. When you end, end on side 'A'. Make your constricting wraps towards side 'B' and then tuck in the second bitter end as normal. Doing this makes the whole thing in a 'slipped' configuration.
Hopefully you can answer a question for me. I would like to be able to order one of the aluminum stylus's that I have seen in your videos. Are they available on your website? I can't find them.
Pretty good but I would prefer a cordura and Velcro version. Velcro for the inner end tabs, and a Velcro wrap all the way around the middle instead of that tuck tab. That's channelling my parachute rigger days.
Would love to see this made with hypalon or nylon version of hypalon…not sure what it’s called, but numerous tactical gear makers are now employing it. And also, reinforcing the tuck tab with HDPE or similar.
Amazing! I instantly went to buy one, but the cost of postage to the UK almost doubled the price. After the initial flood of orders how about an option to buy the plans as eg a pdf?
Hey man, That 1/4" paramax is 1200 # breaking strength correct?! I've lost the package and can't remember!! haha I've got the camo patter, love that stuff.
Have you sold out of these? Just yesterday it looked like it was available. I thought I would sleep on it before ordering. Now I can only put it on my wishlist. 😞 That was literally “you snooze, you lose” 😊 By the way I would buy a 1/4” paramax dispenser also.
Kinda neat, but why though? Or been using this method of wrapping paracord for years and there's no case needed; the external wraps that hold the bundle together serve as the "case".

That's a First Class burrito!
Is it weird to have a favorite inventor? You're my favorite inventor.

A video would be nice, I can't follow written information so we'll. 😔
@@WaschyNumber1I'll restate.
- Do the wrap thing from the above video
- End by your thumb
- Wrap toward your pinky
Cool design. Have you thought about putting on a snap to keep it closed?
The Awesome Burrito Paracord Dispenser, I thought it was an old goggles case from the thumbnail honestly, but that's a clever design! 😂❤️
I have bungee and paracord in many lengths in my shop. I will try this with ziplock bags as organizers!
That is really cool!
Dang, unavailable. Hope it's back in stock soon, looks great.

Cool project
Brilliant
I tried to buy it and it wont let me buy it without the engraving. I want to buy one.
I figured it out. Just check the no box and write no in the rectangle and it works,
Very cool..!! Love it. 👍

Looks like an eyeglass case .. now I'm thinking on how I can use the many cases I have.

It won’t let me add to cart without engraving. Can you fix it?
Click the 'No' box.
It's mandatory for some reason. Just add a space in the box.
It worked with the blank space.
@@MMuraseofSandvichthank you
