Saw DMB on Monday at Manchester Apollo, England. Brilliant musicians as ever, but gig was spoilt for us - we were standing in the stalls with balcony curving round overhead and could only hear the bass bins as their sound was trapped under the balcony. With the rest of the PA flying from the front lighting truss, I'm sure the sound was great in the balcony/upper circle but was so muddy in the stalls that we left early. I've seen Dave play solo three times and strangely enjoyed those gigs more than with the band.
